I get these calls at least once a week. Someone who I can't understand tells me they are calling from Microsoft and my computer has error messages. I play along until they ask me to sit at my computer so they can walk me through the steps to clean it out. At this point I tell them (usually David or Steve) that they are really good at their job because my computer is still in the box! Then for some reason they hang up on me!!
Another one I've done and I only do this after they've continually called 3-4 times in one day.
I'll answer the call, let them do their chat, at this point I will ask for their name and an ID number (most are quite willing to give me this info) then they tell me I need to go to the start button on my computer to get the process started. I let them talk some more and then tell them "you do realize that I am recording this call and when we're done I will be contacting my local police department". They hang up real fast after that!
I haven't had any calls for the last month so may be they finally got the hint!

I say we start a petition to start a report card system on all of our politicians local, state and federal. Let's see who is and who isn't doing the job they were elected for. See how they like to be scrutinized.

Was called around 11am.  First time.  I let it ring because this nightshift worker needs her sleep lol.  Left no message.  Hope it doesn't happen again or I'll unleash a red-headed step-child-taureanan wrath upon them for waking me up!

Have gotten two calls from 123456789 in the past week, once at 12:58a.m. and the other at 11:59p.m. Did not answer either time, because this is obviously a "spoofed" number. Have now got the number blocked, along with 29 other numbers for "card services".

This number called in the middle of the night (after 12:00am).  Wife answered the phone,  but no one was on the other end or answered.  The same number called again today,  but when I answered,  no one was on the line to answer.

I keep getting this call. Have never answered. Got one last night at 1:15 AM???

happened to me before early in AM, when i answered they hung up but this weekend the call came listed as unavilable, same drivel about calling about my computer/microsoft/malware.  I wont tell you my response as this site doesnt want profanity.  Definitely a scam

Isn't it *67?  a friend of mine kept getting calls from them so we *67'd them like 30 times. We just kept prank calling them saying we were different people, like we were the cops, a pizza place, we even did one were we pretended to be an automated voice machine saying to vote for senator Mitt Romney, (this was before the 2012 election) and it annoyed the crud out of them. Gave them a taste of their own medicine, and when they called my friends again he picked up and said he was with the cops. They never called again. Wonder why...

answered a call from 1234567890 and could not understand what the man was asking because his accent rendered his English incomprehensible.  I repeated the words "I cannot understand you" several times and then he said ok and hung up.  next time i see that number I will not pick up the call.

Received a call from this number at 4:34PM.  Male voice with a heavy Indian accent with typical telemarketing noises in the background.  Said he was with National Loan Modification Services, a "federally backed" company (yeah, sure it is).  Wanting to modify my home mortgage and that they wouldn't charge any fee or need documentation.  At first, I thought it was a guy calling me with the "Windows Scam."  More than likely the same people are behind this call too.  This one is new for me.  Told him I didn't want my mortgage modified at which he said "ok" and hung up.  Adding this cute little spoofed phone number to my block list.  I hope one day all the people behind these calls are arrested and convicted for their crimes.

My mom got this call at 9:00pm.

Stop calling immediately. I will never pick up this number and you are waking me in the middle of the night. I will find out who you are.

I have called id:  The last four days I have received 5 calls from "private 1" with no number listed, 3 calls from "unknown name 1 with no number listed, and 2 calls from "unknown name" with the number listed as 123-456-7890.  No message is ever left; a couple of times the recording was background noise.

Just got this call last night...i said hello,  a guy said hello, then silent....i said HELLOOOOOOOOO and he said back Helloooooooooooooo..I just hung up!

A call from this weird number shows up on my senior parents caller i.d. My father who is 88 years old answers it, and some guy, he sounded foreign, starts asking him questions regarding his computer. My father doesn't own a computer, and never even went online. He has an unlisted phone number, so this is rather weird.

Get 4-5 calls per day from this bogus number. Unable to block it using Comcast phone system.  The frequency has picked up and now calling at all hours of day/night.  I'm convinced they have actually "retaliated" to my constant hang ups, ploys to get a manager on the phone or a call back number...

I have received calls from this number for about the past week.  They give a speel like: "I'm with Microsoft and there have been a number of errors reported from your computer.  Are you at the computer? Look at the keyboard.  Is the second key from the left a strange key? Press the key+R..."  That is as far as they got the first time.  
Calls all hours and as musch as a dozen times a day.
