If this is democratic polling or the RNC, they are not subject to the national Do Not Call Reigstry.  That only applies to calls to solicit business and then if it is from a company you have done business with before, it does not qualify as a call in violation of the national Do Not Call Registry.

These jokers just rang my phone.
They have now been blocked.

Call from 200-200-0000 according to my phone company originates in Egypt.

gbkaharman - Do you really think scam callers (and politicians) are going to check the DNC registry before they call you?  Sometimes I think that's where they find numbers to call.

i hope you aren't one of those pushy charity callers that won't take no for an answer.  i can't imagine myself cold calling people and asking for donations.

I keep getting phone calls from this number - I do not recognize it - therefore I don't answer

When I get calls like these I answer them and then hand the phone to my 5 year granddaughter and I tell her they want to hear all about her new puppy.  She just loves to talk to people. She can talk your ear off...

Well the number must be used by someone else now. The man said he was from the federal government and was giving me a grant that i did not have to pay back. I tried reverse number look up and it came back no such number. I then called the number and was told by the recording that it was a non working number. This is the fifth time I have received these stupid phone calls.

Got a call from this numbers 3 times today. Finally picked up and they hung up on me..

Receiving many of these phone calls.  Just started yesterday.

I don't know why every 3-4 months these people call us. People must be prank using our phone number, we are on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" and they need to check it.

I received a robocall from this number and the message was supposed to be from a politician and encouraged me to vote for group of candidates.  There is only one problem here, Election Day was last week.

Left a message. A guy named Mike said to vote for a guy named Joe and a gal named Annette.

Everyone, the people that are calling are CRIMINALS-they are NOT going to abide by the Do Not Call List! How many fraking times do I have to say it?!

200-200-0000 showed up on caller ID, figured it must be someone I'd rather not talk to. Answering machine handled the call, all I heard was a woman saying, "hello ... hello ..." Didn't leave a name or anything.

Sooooo, I'm pretty much sick and tired of scammer/marketing calls, especially as my numbers are 'supposedly' on the DNR list.  I have decided that NO ONE regulates this Crap.  So, got this latest call and picked up the phone & screamed at the top of my lungs.  I think I may have busted the neighbors windows, let alone the sound barrier.  And, DRUM ROLL,,,,,,,,,,they hung up (or died).  Problem solved for now but I also realized GREAT angst therapy for this particular irritant!  ;)

I let the answering machine answer.  The caller said one word, after the answering machine message (that word was not recorded).  Might have been "hello".  Might have been "uh uh".  Might have been the sound of somebody chugging a beer.

Obviously a faked phone number, that might be used by any and all "volunteers" who want to contact other people with phones.  That number has been added to my block list.

The fact that the area code is 200 makes obvious that this is not a legitimate.

I paid for this line--don't want any other callers than my own selected numbers
