I get calls starting early morning hours to late night , every single day for the past two months. All the guy says is Hello, then the line goes dead. It is very anoying and inconvient. I call backk and the phone just rins busy.

I rec calls from this number several times a day. I have told them that i am contacting my lawyer, but they continue to call. I have also tryed to call the number back, my phone tells me i'm calling New Jersey, but it is always busy. I can not get them to stop no matter what i have done. I'm ready to change my number.

Stop calling my phone. Please make them stop like the others I am on a NO CALL LIST and it is constant and annoying. Every evening and sometimes during the day. The calls are to my cell phone which in turn eats up my minutes.

this person from a credit card company keeps calling me 2 to 3 times a day.I have told them to stop callin and yet they still call.

Get 4 to 5 calls a day from JAYSHREE.  Not sure how to stop it.  Any one?

They have called me everyday for the past 2 weeks and call at least 2-3 times a day.  I have stopped answering the calls and they still continue to dial my number.  Who can I report this to so that they can block the number?

I have started to receive these phone calls for the past 3-4 weeks, I don't know where these people got my number from but they won't stop calling. It is now becoming a harrassment case. This number with the name jayshree on it calls me around 5-8 times a day and either I will call someone to file harrassment charges or some other action needs to be put in place. I have never gave these people permission to keep calling and when they call they ask for me and then hang up. When they call I tell them to stop calling my phone but it continues day after day! The start for 8 am in the morning till late in the evening which is rude and unnecessary I would like it to end today! My number is unlisted and therefore that means only people that we want to talk to is welcomed to call!!!

I keep getting a call from this number and all I get is a Hello or a woman taking about lump sums of money.  I yell STOP F*&K^%G  calling me or tell them to take me off their call list, but they continue to harrass me.  What Can I do to make them stop?  I have already tried not answering their calls.

i been getting these phonecalls [from jayshree or whoever] for about 3 wks straight the call no less than 5 times a day and no more than 10 times a day. when they call a man first speaks and says hello, shortly after some recording comes on and says , youve been approved for you 10,000 dollar credit line just enter your bank account blah blah blah, does anybody know how to stop this? pls it is so annoying and frustrating whats most annoying about it is that i cant even personally tell them to quite calling becuase its a recording and when i attempt to call back its only give me a fast budy signal

I keep getting a call from this number and a busy signal.

calls my cell phone every day, doesn't leave voicemail and doesn't usually talk when I answer.  Not sure what they want.

I am about ready to go out of my mind from the calls I get from this phone number. They also call my 81 year old mom who is on her deathbed in the front room. The guy says "Hellloooo-ooww and then switches me to some recorded sales message.

I have called my cell phone company and they can't do a thing about it. I called the police and found out that unless tthe person says he is going to kill me...they can't do anything about it.

I registered with the donotcall.gov website and have to wait 31 days to make a complaint.

I am amazed that the phone company won't or can't block this number. When I told the phone company that I was going to have to change my phone number
and have to get all my business cards and stationary changed, they decided to take $30 off my phone bill. That was nice, but this rat-[***] [***] has already caused me a $1,000 nervous breakdown...because everytime I get woken up by a phone call I think someone is caslling to say my mom just died.

If I can ever catch these people I am going to do some type of damage to them (lawsuit or whatever...though I've actually been driven to the point of wanting to punch this guy's teeth in).

There has to be a better way of blocking unwanted calls than having to spend hours talking to the phone company, police and the donotcal.gov thing.

At least, today, I see that I am not the only one having this problem.

I finally had enuff, i contacted my phone provider and changed my cell number. I also let my provider know of what was going on, gave him the numer and told him to google it to see all this. I get these calls from 201/373/8371, 800/634/6729, 888/669/8868 and 866/779/9279.  google all them, they are all the same thing. crazy....

I have been getting calls from this # for weeks now on my cell.........is there not something that can be done for this.........its really annoying!

This number calls me between 6 - 7pm everyday for the last 2 weeks.  It's so annoying!

I get calls from this number on my CELL PHONE. I have been getting calls for the last few months and it is getting on my nerves. They don't care when they call. They even call at 5 am. What is up with that. I am on the national DO NOT CALL list. Are they selling my number to these people? Why are they calling me and why does the guy just say "HELLO" and nothing else. I am tired of this and it BETTER stop soon. Or I will be pressing charges!

Believe me, folks, I understand your frustration. We've been getting calls on my wife's cell phone at all hours from the same number asking for our bank account info. in order to receive a credit card. I've been following this thread and trying to research on my own, as well. Here's what I've found out (please post any updated info. after 7/18/07). As someone posted before, the company is Platinum Benefit Group. I found that this is a subsidiary of Marshall Bank of SD, whose number is 1-877-554-2339. I called them and wound up choosing the "Fraud Reporting" option of their phone tree. I got through to a woman and told her what was happening. She gave me the number for Platinum Benefit Group (1-800-429-7327), but you need an authorization code to get through to a human. I called Marshall Bank back but got a voicemail, so I left an angry message that they should be aware that this trail is leading to them and so will any lawsuit we pursue. I'll continue to call them until I'm given a number at PBG where I can reach a human. I would suggest that anyone receiving calls from this number call Marshall Bank, pick a branch in their phone tree, and inform them of what is happening. If enough people complain (or at least occupy Marshall Bank employees with complaints), maybe they'll do something or at least think twice about sponsoring Platinum Benefit Group. Of course, turn your caller i.d. off when you call them (on your cellphone calling settings), or by dialing *67 first on your home phone. Happy calling! (And please keep the rest of us posted....)

I get calls on my cell phone everyday of the week at least 3-4 times a day, there is never any voice message.  How do I get them to stop?

Oh my god!  Let me tell you how many times these people have called me today, 5 times.  They do the same thing, you answer and all that they say is Hello then they hang up.  They start calling at 900 in the morning and they don't stop until 8 or 9 at night.  I understand, it is getting really frustrating.

Sorry, I didn't state that these people have been calling me 5 to 6 times a day for the last month.  I can't believe that these people don't have any consideration for like the other posts said, you are getting ready for work, you are on your lunch break, you are at work.  Heck you may want to go to bed early and they disturb you.  What is a person to do.
