I have been called 4 times a day for the past week. They say hello and then nothing, I hang up.  I am on do not call registry and submitted a complaint.  I now just don't answer when they call, but it is annoying.

They call every two hours like clockwork.  Don't leave message or talk, it's pissing me off toooo.  How do you stop

he's been calling at the same time everyday it is always around 9:30 and I am only 12 years old he says hello then I listen for a minute and something come on about a credit card I wish they would stop because I am away from my mom and I am really freaked out

The guy that says hello in the beginning isn't real.. that's just a recording before the rest of the garbage so yelling wont work, I tried that. I have even listened to the recorded bull s_ _ _  just to see if I can get a real person but that wont work either.  Has anyone tried going ahead with the application to get this bogus platinum card they are offering to just see what company this is??? THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED!!!!!!!!!

I have been getting cals from this number 3-4 times a day! They never leave a message if I don't answer but immediately after another call comes in from a 1-800 # every time. The second # is not the same every time just that its 1-800... I am on do not call but it doesn't stop them. They call as early as 830am until 930 pm!!! How do I get this stopped?!

Not sure if it will help but here is some of the possible contact info I found on this number. Read my previous post on here, try it, what I did by listening and pressing the numbers they requested to remove my number, seems to have work for the time being, we will see.

When they call, answer the phone, say hello, might have to say it twice, i did....anyway, listen to their message about your new $10,000 credit line, then after the message they give you the option of removing your number from their list, do as they say. So far, it has worked for me and I haven't gotten any calls from them all day, but we will have to see if that stops them, if it works, I will let you all know. Hope we can put a stop to this obviously fraudulant company.

Okay... don't know where everyone's from- but here on the East Coast, there's this commerical (something about a free laptop). The gimmick is that you have to agree to subsctiptions (Dvd's from Columbia House, Book clubs, ect). I, in my naivete, believed that I could get a free laptop by visiting this website.. well, I visisted and have been getting calls from this (201) 373-8371 SEVERAL TIMES PER DAY!! It starts at about 9:00 a.m. and continues througout the day. My number is on the DNC list, yet the calls continue. This is so annoying!!!!

I too am getting these calls from 201-373-8371, and have been for months. Like many that have posted here, my number as well is unlisted and I too am on the DNC list, but apparently that makes no difference to these fools. I called my phone company that tried doing a search, found out they are in Little Ferry NJ, but they have crossed all their t's and dotted all of their i's because there was absolutely nothing the phone company could do to block this number from ringing into my home. Does anyone happen to know if this lawyer is a part of the scam? If so, I have no qualms about calling his office and offering a meeting with MY OWN attorney and himself. I am so tired of this, they are calling me 3+ times every day of the week. If anyone happens to know a way to rid me of these rodents, I would appreciate you letting me know. The number 201-373-8371 calls my cell phone all day.  The one time I answered it was a man shouting hello.  I have no idea how they got my number but it is annoying.  I get no less than five to ten calls a day.  Is it possible to file a complaint with verizon?  I don't even have verizon, I have sprint.  The number will not accept calls which leads me to believe it might be a telemarketer.

Can anyone know how to stop this call????? it's really ignoring.

I received a call from this number today, i went to answer it and when i answered it, it said calling 201-373-8371 on the screen.  What's up with this

I am about ready to go out of my mind from the calls I get from this phone number. They also call my 81 year old mom who is on her deathbed in the front room. The guy says "Hellloooo-ooww and then switches me to some recorded sales message.

I have called my cell phone company and they can't do a thing about it. I called the police and found out that unless tthe person says he is going to kill me...they can't do anything about it.

I registered with the donotcall.gov website and have to wait 31 days to make a complaint.

I am amazed that the phone company won't or can't block this number. When I told the phone company that I was going to have to change my phone number
and have to get all my business cards and stationary changed, they decided to take $30 off my phone bill. That was nice, but this rat-as* [***] has already caused me a $1,000 nervous breakdown...because everytime I get woken up by a phone call I think someone is calling to say my mom just died.

If I can ever catch these people I am going to do some type of damage to them (lawsuit or whatever...though I've actually been driven to the point of wanting to punch this guy's teeth in).

There has to be a better way of blocking unwanted calls than having to spend hours talking to the phone company, police and the donotcal.gov thing.

At least, today, I see that I am not the only one having this problem.

I find it outlandish that AT&T (mt cell phone company) won't do a thing to stop these calls. They just tell me to change my number or to not answer.

how do you know they are associated with  Platinum Benefit Group? I looked up that name on google and got this number 1-877-344-4835. There is an option to speak to a rep.

Ok, So i've been geting calls as well.  3-4 times a day.  Another poster left a name of "Platinum Benefit Group" So I did a little research on them, and found a incredable amount of complaints on the "Rip off Report" Website.. I called them at.. 1-877-344-4835 and spoke to a very rude woman who told me that she has no way of knowing if this cold call is comming from them or not.  She also told me that the only way she can check is if I give her my phone number so she can look it up.  Well.. Needless to say with all the calls I get from 201-373-8371 JAYSHREE I was a bit reluctant to give her my number.  Most of the complains on the rip off report state that they filled out a credit app on the phone to find out it was a pre pay credit card.  Not wanting that they chose to cancel before any charges were made to there bank acct which they had to provide to prove they are who they are.  Needless to say multiple debts of 139.00 were taken from there acct and when contacting the Platinum Benefit Group were told it was non refundable.  Most ended up shutting down there acct and having to open new ones with no refund given!  Word of advice folks.. These people are expecting you to fill out the application just to get a phone number to call and b*tch at someone for calling you non stop!! Then they have you where they want you.  I still am not any closer to figuring out how to get these people to stop calling.. but at least I know what not to do!

I have recieved over 9 calls to my cell in just the last 24 hours, probably over 100 in the last 2 months, I can not get a human on the line to get it to stop. I need to keep my cell open for emergencies, please help me find someone to get this to stop.
