How will an invalid number be identified?  Why is such allowed?  The consumer seems to have less and less protection.  We are on the DO NO CALL list and we still get numerous calls from Betty, who wants to clean our carpets and many others, including calls from this bogus number.

Look for a blocker with "First Ring Suppression." If a blocked number calls, the phone lights up, reads caller blocked, and goes dark, with nary a ring to be heard. Woo Hoo!

You need to understand what the DNC is and isn't. It's the equivalent of the cheapest, flimsiest, most useless padlock available. It will only "protect" you from honest people and those that never come on your property. It will do nothing to protect you from the errant moth that brushes against it and it certainly won't protect you from a dedicated thief.

Whether we should HAVE to protect ourselves is irrelevant. Thieves are out there and they thrive on those who think the DNC will protect them. Call blockers come in many forms and range in price from reasonable to downright free. Get one with "First Ring Suppression" and you'll never know these people call until you check your call log.

Do not answer unknown callers-never call them back-get a call blocker and use it.

They call at least 5 times a day !

Calls non stop!  Every 6 minutes, over 15 calls a day!

They have called 12 times in the last 2 days- 5 times in one hour.  I picked up and asked who it was and they hung up.  Calling at 8:55 at night.

The DNC only works for law abiding telemarketers.  It will not stop dermined criminals or scofflaws.  Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.  It would be a good idea to block the 202 area code.  The  Indian and Pakistani scammers just love to spoof that area code.

Called four times yesterday. I answered the third call on the 3rd ring and was dead air. Tried calling back and only get a busy signal/tone. My caller ID says "Name Not Found". Called at 5:17pm, 6:17pm, 7:18pm, and 8:46pm. I'm guessing it's a robocall. So damned tired of these calls. And YES, I am on the Do Not Call List...for what little good THAT does! :(

Blocked by my cellphone app because the number is not in my contact list.  Also I believe '062' is not a valid phone exchange.

These Jerks called me for the first time 2xs yesterday and called at 8am and 920am on a Sunday morning.  I never answered it, no vm, no caller id. Somebody needs to stop these people. When call back it says number can't be dialed, check number. And I have been in the DNC  list  for along time.

Been called 4 times this morning already. They have called many time before this. I have them on a block list that is built into my cordless phone I recently bought. Whenever someone calls and I don't want to answer I just hit block call and confirm with a yes and I never here the calls from then at all. Works great. Can block up to 2000 callers

I have had 7 calls from this number in the last 30 minutes.  When I tried to call back it says it is no longer in service.  very annoying adding to my blocked calls

They are calling every 8 minutes.  Never leave voicemail.

This number has called me 5 times in the last hour. My call blocker caught the call, but the call still uses my minutes.

call after call, no answer when I say hello.

Total harassment from this number, especially after I finally picked up the phone (twice) and asked that they not call again.

I finally had to take the phone off the hook to stop the harassment.

I plan to take legal action against this number for preying on the elderly.

Called twice [today] for "Lisa."    No Lisa lives here.   Called twice from two other different numbers within the past week, also asking for "Lisa"    They are some sort of survey company -- I can't remember the name.   It's a live human being on the other end.   But apparently they don't understand when you tell them nicely there is no "Lisa" here, and they apparently don't understand when you tell them to GFY :)
