I'm receiving dozens of calls regarding loans I've allegedly applied for.  I have gotten calls from over 30 numbers.  As soon as I question them, they hang up.  Many of the numbers are disconnected when I call back.

Me too exactly like the first post.  They are oversees scammers that used to do pay day loans and call people and try to get people to pay them.  They are calling from outside the US that's why when  you call back the phone is disconnected.  They piggery back on a cell number in the US and have that cell not allow any incoming calls

45 calls today and counting. Many different numbers. I give up.

i have had at least 20 calls today i have yelled at them told them not call any more and used a whitlse at them
when i called the number they no what number you are calling from  they said they are from mci

I have received a call about receiving loans for school. I'm currently still in school. When I received the phone call I did everything the man asked as soon as I questioned him he hung up. When I called back, the phone said it was a company of MCI.

Offshore payday loan telemarketers.  Between 30 and 50 calls a day for 4 months now.  The only thing that works is I forward my land line to my smartphone and use an app called CALL CONTROL, the free version.  It maintains th federal do not call list and you can add to your own black list however, I had to add in around 40 numbers since this bunch piggy backs Sprint cell numbers to look local, employs multiple toll free numbers, call ID blockers, and 1* codes.  CALL CONTROL blocks about 90% and it is one key stroke to add the new piggy back numbers.  Then I dump them into the community-based Call Control blocker base that is catching up the most virulent bunch of hammer callers I have ever experienced.

These people keep calling my phone and dont leave a message.when I call back it states they are mci.

Dont know anybody in D.C. only debt i have is at local hospital.

They tried telling me they were from fafsa. Fafsa is a thing not an organization or department. I have received numerous calls over the last few days. They are scammers fishing for information. As soon as I started questioning his intent he immediately hung up.

i got a phone call from 202-222-2222 and i called it back and it said it was the fbi then it said my phone number

ME TOO. I get no less than 20 calls a day even though I have NEVER applied for any such loans. It's awful. My only option is to change my cell number which I've had for 10 years.

Yep I have gotten about 12 today. I finally was able to block one number 202-202-2020 from DC and now i'm getting 202-222-2222- liek really?? don't leave a message I WILL NOT ANSWER!

They called me and said if I paid $290, they would give me $7,000. SCAM. They told me to call 202-738-4646, and ask for Mark Houston. Watch out.

They are one of two calls: first the 202-222-2222 calls and claims they have a legal package to be delivered to my home and want to know when someone will be home. If I want more information I am to call another number. I have handled this a couple of ways...I have said I would be home the next day as suggested, but no one shows up. I have called the number and told I owed money from a few years ago to a bank and need to pay up or go to court. After checking their information I found I didn't have an account with that bank until three later. I called the bank to see what the account number they gave was for and the manager said there were not or never had been numbers like those in their system, ever. For the past year I have just not accepted their calls, I am considering changing my number.

they called me live 4 time today . I pick it up and the guy said who they were but was hard to understand so I hung up on them they quit calling now . will see if they call back. the #2022222222

202 222 2222 keeps harassing me, even.blocked it

I get a call every day different times of the day from 202-222-2222 when I answer they hang up, I never called them back if they could not spoke when I was available why should I bother with them, I do not know them or this number.
