I pick up the phone and no one said anything.

I received a phone call from 222-222-2222.  They said they were from the U.S. Treasury Dept. and had $9,000 to give me. I knew it was too good to be true and told them it sounded like a scam.  The caller sounded foreign.  They sad it wasn't a scam.  I told them to put me on their "Do not call list".  I hope they don't call back.

Sorry that area code was 202 and all the other numbers were 2's.

Please make it stop, they called me 4 times today never leave any message, I finally answered the last one and no one was there, if you call it back it says it's been disconnected so how are they calling me from this number

Get calls 5 to 8 times a day

They said they was from the US government and I was selected for a $9000 loan I'd never have to pay back

I keep getting calls from 202-222-2222.  Caller ID says CO INFO SY, whatever that stands for....
Since I did not know who or what that was, I did not answer the call.  However, I have tried calling it.  The phone is either totally void of any sound....or a recorded message comes on and says  "Toll free listings directed by AT & T.  What listing would you like?"   I am thinking about calling AT & T to ask them about this caller ID and the number.

Called a juvenile phone number

I received this call as UNKNOWN NAME on caller ID.  Number is 202-222-2222.  After further researching this on the Web and according to Facebook, this belongs to a Gay Bar/Nightclub in DC.  Here is the link for the number:

For awhile, it has been quiet at our house.
Now we are getting more than our share of unwanted calls, and calls we do not have the slightest idea of who they
are.
They do not leave a message on the phone machine.  To me this is very rude.

All telemarketers can go suck on a hot poker.
Getting very tired of these phone calls.  They are very annoying.

It is a spoofed number. Don't waste tour time.

How would you expect them to know it is a juvenile number? You give a phone to your kid and you hand them the same responsibilities as an adult.  Don't expect the bad people to play nice.

Continue to receive calls from this number and many others.  All calls are unsolicited.  Want to sue for harassment and theft.

person called and told me I had been awarded a government grant of $9000.  He said he needed my bank account number so he could transfer it.  I told him to mail it but of course, he could not.  He tried to verify my name, address etc and had the wrong state.  When I told him that the government had my bank account number already and that I was not going to give it to him because he was a scam and I was going to report him for preying on people.

During the last two days I have received at least 15 calls. I answered once but the person at the other end hanged up.

Second call just came in for today, first guy spoke pretty good English but the second wasn't that clear, surprisingly both pronounced my last name correctly which most people don't, anyway I'm getting the spiel of being eligible for free  money from the government.  The first call I asked him to repeat who he was calling for - he hung up, this second one I answered "morgue", he then asked for my husband, I told him he called the county morgue and there was no one working there by that name, gee he hung up too.  Now to block the number.....

Started receiving phone calls from 202-222-2222.  They were calls that came in every two minutes or so for periods of time.  I did not pick up.  Finally, on June 10, 2015, I picked up the phone and asked "why do you keep calling me, who are you?  The caller fumbled around.  He had an accent and was hard to understand.  He kept trying to give me his "speel" on whatever he was doing but I interuppted him and told him to stop calling my number!  He replied, in a very deliberately mean voice..."you [***] [***]!"

Nice, real nice.  The calls did stop after that.  Another caller started calling me after that, area code 850 is all I remember.  These stopped after two days, I never picked up.  I have had all kinds of scam calls since the cell phone numbers were released this year.  Wish that had not happened.
