Reporting them does no good. However, if you have selective call blocking, you should be able to block the last number that called you by following the instructions from your telephone company. For large telemarketers using several trunk lines, this may not work, but it has for me so far.
It also can block your ever so humble political callers as well.

The numbers showing on the screen when these telemarketers call is fake to avoid the real number showing.
Also the callers are located offshore of US, e.g. Panama, or other South/Central American countries, and US authorities have no control over the owners and operators of these calling centers. The best reaction to the call by these telemarketers is to take the call so that the phone company providing the service for the number records the call completed, and charges the phone owners. Then when the message starts playing disconnect the call. This hits the telemarketer in their pocket and has to pay for the call, with thousands of calls every day being charged to their account, the result is very obvious.

They call every day, all day.  How can I get this stopped once and for all.

This number called me, and when I asked to be put on do not call list she began laughing obnoxiously.  Then I told her she had to, or there would be a $500 fee incurred to her company.  Then she told me "why don't you go ahead and try it."  After that call, she PERSONALLY called me from another phone number, and left a harrassing message on my phone mail.  I am pursuing charges.

I have received 5 calls from 202-351-3916 within the last 2 hours.  All messages state that this is "my 2nd and final call."  However, they keep calling back.  When I hit 1 to speak to someone, I got a male who hung up on me when I asked to be removed from the call list.  There is no way to contact these people back.

Program your fax machine to redial the number 99 times.  It will tie up their line as your fax machine calls them over and over and over...  Of course it ties up your phone as well so make sure you don't need to use your phone while you're doing this.

I get a call from this number daily. It is really frustrationg! So much for the do not call list! The only thing worse are the cals on my cell phone and of course the unwanted texts!

This is a telemarketing scam call asking for your credit card information to "help you" with better rates. As soon as I spoke to tell them to remove me from their call list, they hung up. They called me three times in one day and finally on the third call I decide to answer; these type of calls should be considered harrassment and there should be some legal actions taken against them. Find them, fine them or shut them down. I suggest everyone enter their numbers in the National Do Not Call Database.

Repeatedly calling us even though we are on the do not call list - when I connect to anyone I state that I want to be removed from their calling list and they don't even finish before they hang up

The 202-351-3916 number has hounded me for months and I never answer their call.  I would advise anyone to never press "one" for an unidentified call since I had a Discover Card scam that told me to "reset your account by pressing one."  There has to be something going on that the average public doesn't know.  But, we all know enough to beware and just don't answer the call. We can hope that the law catches them for their criminality and puts them in JAIL.

Sounds like some of you don't like these calls???  All you need to do is have caller ID and buy a Digitone Call Blocker. The first time they call the blocker will let it go through to you or your answer mach. Then you block the number. The next time they call the block checks to see if it is a blocked number and hangs up on them. Your phone doesn't even ring. The blocker keeps track of all good and bad calls. It's the greatest, Sounds like you need one as bad as I did.

Scam calls! The subject is always the same: lowering my credit card rates. These calls  are recordings--impossible to reach these scam folks!

I would love, and try to avoid calls like this.  Today I was deceived though, the caller ID said it was from a wireless number.  So I answered, slightly leary, and the woman spoke.  I responded by asking her why her company was deceiving me and hung up.  Isnt this something we should stand up to and try to change??

These people called me multiple times regarding credit card services. I asked 4 times to be removed from their list, this time I recorded it!
Me - "I would like you to not call my home and to removed from your call list"
Them "or what? what you gonna do about it if we don't"
Me - "I should be able to tell you to stop calling"
Them - "or what, what are you gonna do if I don't? What you gonna do about it"?
Me - "Sir, who are you, what's your name? Let me speak to your supervisor"
Them - "I am my supervisor, now what?"
Finally I recorded these a**holes!

They called today two times. The first time I hung up on them. The second time I spoke to a girl named Kelly. I asked her how to get them to stop calling me. She said, "That's easy, just call this 800 number I will give you" Needless to say, when I called the 800 number it was a sex line. They may think this is cute, but I don't! We pay a lot for our phone service and should be able to get rid of these people who need to get a real job! I do believe that there is technology to find these harassing people and end these calls!
