Received a call from 202-351-7725 DC call an obvious bull call about credit card account lower interest to get your personal information.  Have received this call many times and always tells me it's the last chance to receive a lower interest rate.  Called back, being nosey, and after you get the recording of non availability of the person making the call it says it goes to an 031 switch whatever that is.  Someone needs to put a stop to these identity thieves.  Phone companies need to provide us with a spam button that when these calls come in we can automatically push and block the caller from future communication to the blocked phone number.

This frustration will stop eventually. Just don't answer a call that you question. One can always look a number up on the web and identify it's soarce. Stay cool, adapt and overcome...

they said they are allowed to call because I have a credit card. When I asked which one.. They said "visa, mc, american express"... When I said I dont have any of those, they hung up

How to fight back: time is their most valuable commodity, so waste it. Talk slowly, make stuff up, ask them to repeat themselves and say back what they say incorrectly, give them phony numbers. If they ask if you have a lot of debt tell them you have over $100k of debt you would like to move to another account, etc. Argue over the interest rate. Try to keep them on the phone for as long as possible. Have fun.

Keep calling and will not take me off of their call list. Doex anyone know how to stop Card Members Services from calling?

I asked them to stop calling me and they hung up. I pay my bills and can't figure out why they keep calling. Today I asked them to stop and the women said when you sign up for a credit card it's on the disclosure form??? Then she hung up. I'm kind of tired of getting these very annoying calls. I can also put them on the Do Not Call Registry. Can you help?

i am tired of these spam callers

I have received several calls about "credit card debt", of which I have none.  These calls are extremely annoying and disrupt my day.  I'm so frustrated, but have no idea what to do about it.

Keep calling here about reducing credit card interest. Funny the Government  can do all kinds of sneaky things. Why are they not able to make these people stop with their annoying calls.

My post is pretty much the same - except I know I don't have credit card debt, so I hit 1 to ask them not to call again.  the young man said are you calling about reducing your debt?  I said no, I am calling to tell you to take my name off your list... he said we don't have a name list.. so take my number off your list... he said we don't have a number list ass****  I said put your manager on the phone he said fine... put me on "hold" and a woman answered ... told her what he called me.. she said she would call him into her "office" right away...she then said she would take me off thier list... Bull !!!!

They call all the time. The call is not actually originating in DC - they have a computer program that alows them to mask their real phone number which is likely overseas. I answer the calls and put the receiver down until they get tired of saying "hello...hello..." and eventually they hang up.  Another tactic -- tell them you've lost your job and had to declare bankruptcy 3 times -- can they help get you a credit card with $100K limit?

They have called every day for a week but leave no message.  You can't call back.

Repeated calls, leaves no message on machine.  I never answer my phone unless I know who is calling.  What really pisses me off is I am paying for phone service which aggravates me.

This phone number called me today 6/11/12 at 1:42PM...Phone rang & I did not pick up... They left NO message.  I called back phone number to see who it was & there was only an automated message that stated the operator was unavailable & to leave my name & number...they never identified who they were.

This should not be allowed.  If it is a business number shouldn''t they have to identify themselves?
If they are operating something illegal is there not an authority in the USA that can identify who they are from this phone number & shut them down!

Received missed call from this number at 4:57 pm today.  No message left.  Glad to have this sight to see it was probably a solicitation call of some kind.

I continue to receive these calls and when I call back they answer 'this is so and so" and when I tell them to remove me from their list, HANG UP! Then if you call back, you get a recording of 'the person you are calling is not available! I looked up number on search and it's located in Washington, DC. There MUST be a way they can be located and shut down...I'm SO tired of their constant calls..when I see that number show up I won't answer. Don't these idiots realize you can call your credit card company and negotiate your interest rate??? Wish the gov't would get on the ball and do something about these people. Tired of foreign countries emailing me also!

They called me too.  When I said I don't want calls from them, the male representative asked if I wanted his dick.  I'm serious.  That was said to me.  I wish I could do something about it.
