- Don replies to AmandaI agree, Amanda. So far this year, I have received 8 calls from these people from area codes of 419 (OH), twice from 567 (OH), 800, 404 (GA), 406 (MT), and twice from 202 (DC). The most recent was on June 24, 2011 from the Washington, DC number. This is of course a scam to obtain your credit card number. Everyone should report these calls to the FCC although I'm not convinced that anything is ever done with people who violate the Do Not Call law. I keep a running list of these calls and report every call I receive from any type of telemarketer.

At some point I would think that these scam calls will saturate people's patience. I now just press the number to speak with the live dirt bag and berate him or her. Using their time up has become my goal. - chrisI get 2 phone calls everyday from this company Card Services of America......I am on the do not call list yet the call me every day

- KenI've been calls and messages from this company for several months. I happened to be home today and answered my home phone. When I asked for the company name they said Visa & Mastercard Services. I asked if they were calling about my account, which account? He said he didn't know he'd need to verify some information and then he could tell me. I stated I wouldn't be confirming any of my info since he called me and that I wanted more information as to whom was calling before I'd disclose anything. Then, get this, he said that I was "pissing him off" and there was no point in giving any information because it was clear this call was a "waste of time" for him. When I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, he hung up on me. When I hit *69, the number was 202 367 9973 and when I dialed it, it just provided an option to be put on a do-no-call list - there were no options to speak to anyone. I wonder if Visa and Mastercard know that this is either a scam or a third parter vendor of theirs that is providing terrible service in their name.

- bluepencilRobocall from "Heather" of "Card Services" about eligibility to lower interest rate on credit cards. I pressed 2 to "receive no more calls" and somehow got connected to a person who identified himself as Jeremy of Card Services of America. He asked how he could help me and I said I wanted no more calls like this. He said "Have a good day" and hung up.

- BillI received a call, but since the Caller ID read VISAREWARD, I let it go to my voicemail. I then checked my voice mail and there was a message on it that began with an "Automated Dialer" saying, "Thank you, I'll connect you." then there was a phone ringing, which was answered by a female who asked "Are you calling regarding the low Visa interest rates?"
- Caller: VISAREWARD

- HolliePlease remove my fax number from your list. This costs me a piece of paper and wastes ink every time you call because my fax machine reports incomplete faxes.

Guess there are a lot of John Q. Public names on their call list because they thought that name i provided was real too.
- Seriously Now replies to Customer that fight his right!Dude, that wasn't "the card company" who called you. Calm down. And on a side note, it doesn't matter what your private life is at the moment; your bills are your bills.
