Been getting this number as well. I will answer the next time stating you have reached the F.B.I. and that this is being recorded and traced! LMAO!

This number called me . Claimed to represent a government program called more than once each time a different one once a man once daughter and threatened in this country yes or no law .

This # called me allll day today. Finally I answered, it was a lady saying that I was randomly picked for a grant for $10,200. All I said was, tell me what's the catch, and she immediately hung up the phone. These people are definitely a fraud. They don't even leave you messages. They just call your phone over and over.

This person call (Rose) stating that money was awarded to me by the government (laugh) over 10K.  Can you imagine?  Who gives away 10K just like that.  I listened for a while to hear what was being said.   The person then asked me for my credit card number to deposit the money (as if I would).  Do not be fooled.  I am sure this is a scam.  Be aware!!!  This should be investigated.  Someone will be foolish enough to give the information.  I hung up.

if it isn't the student loan calls it's this one. 5 times in one day!  I always check on line to see who is calling. from what I read it is another scam. I would have to pay to have them blocked!!!. There has to be another way to stop this. why should I pay to have this stopped?

I had a call come in from a  lady who tried using a different accent which was done very poorly, she proceeded to acknowledge me by my first and last name and told me about a grant program. I told her to put me on the do not call list when I requested it I could here laughter in the back ground and other calls taking place. The lady proceeded to call me a MF and then hung up.

The number 202-697- 9205 shows on my phone as an incoming wireless number. Which means it is a cell phone. Wonder if this is one of those free Obama give away cell phones, HaHaHa. I think I'll have some real fun with these idiots.

Received a call today from this number.  The woman on the line was incoherent and sounded drunk.  Also, there was a lot of background noise which immediately clued me in that something was wrong so I told her no one was here by that number and she hung up.   Good thing I did based upon what I have read in the previous posts.   Hopefully, my input will help those getting these calls and guide them to listen for the same clues that keyed me in that this is a scam.

This person has called me repeatedly for the past few days, finally today I answered the phone. He verified my name and the wrong address. I corrected the address and asked to talk to his supervisor. He kept insisting that he could help me with whatever I need answers to. He refused to give me the "financial department" information or a verification number or code and kept saying I was selected to receive a Federal Grant. I kept insisting on a supervisor and he got mad and nasty in his tone and hung up on me. I tried to call the number back and it would not go through. He did call repeatedly without leaving any messages and I am turning him in to CFPB. I am also filing a police report and putting this number on the do not call list. I will block it with my cell service and I would advise that anyone on here that reads this apply the same measures. Hopefully they can catch this moron!!! Kudos to those of you that didn't give up your information! He was persistent on getting my bank account information or any form of plastic. Good luck to those who pursue to fry this guy!!!

I received 6 calls today Saturday March 23, 2013, I always screen my calls and I don't answer calls of numbers I do not recognize especially out of my area code. I set there and ignore it, and I feel if it is something important the can leave a message on my voice mail. Of course they did not leave any message. Then on the 6th call, I did answer and said hello in a very stern voice, and a women came on and ask for my name, and I said who was calling, and the call was abruptly disconnected. I try to call back, and got a ringing and then busy signal. I came to my laptop to look up this number, and here I am. They never got any information from me. Now, if you do have a prepaid debt card, don't give them your number, because you Social Security number is attach to that card. The next time you get any calls from scammers' or people you don't know, act crazy when you answer the phone, with an very aggressive and stern voice or just Yell like your angry when you say hello, they will hang up. They are more intimidated by you then you by them. This is not the first time they called me with this bogus grant, they have called me back in January, but the young lady was polite and I said no and not call my number again. I went on line to register my phone numbers on the do not call national registry, and if they should call again, I can file a lawsuit.

This number scammed me.
