Some radical political poll asking if I favored increasing the deficit to murder newborn babies... spoofs caller ID (ILLEGAL!) and doesn't say who funded it or how to opt out (ILLEGAL!). And of course they need my money to stop all the murder... what a bunch of sick creeps.

They left a message on our answering machine.  It sounds like the one you received, but it stopped after asking about Obamacare and whether I approved of increasing the deficit to fund abortions, etc.  Since nobody was home to answer, it couldn't go on to ask for money.  I agree with someone who posted earlier - the original question is very tricky and cannot be answered without sounding as if you agree with everything they are saying, and the jerks who fund this "survey" will probably use the ridiculously skewed results to proclaim that "95% of Americans hate Obamacare!"

tired of this number calling several times a day. i dont have time to run to the phone just to see its this crap. there need to be laws about these types of calls. if you answer and hang up a diff number calls back with the same id. i want a law against all solicitation. by the way im not sure if this is a legit congress call or a natural gas company but im not interested in either. i know some folks say its about voting and others say its from a gas company. with that many possibilites it seems like a hoax. if the government has a do not call list then they should make sure it is enforced. all my numbers have been added to that list and i still get hounded all times of day even late at night.

Called and presented themselves as a political survey, but then gave a sales pitch for Republican Steve Lonegan and wanted to know if what they told me had changed my mind about how I would vote. NOT A POLL!!!

Got a call from POLLRSRCH 202-769-0477

A recorded message asked if I thought energy was to high.  When I said yes they hung up, which made me suspicious, I have to wander what I said yes to.

They have called me 19 times over the past 2 weeks, which is clearly harassment.

I have never answered and the machine is disconnected since we only use our (unlisted) cell phones.

The landline came free with our ISP. No one, except telemarketers and other crazies, call on this number, which we do not answer. The ringer is turned on off but we can see by the ID Caller it is a spoofed phone #,  possibly a front for a telepest or a front for a con-artist type of debt-collector.

They can call till the cows come home --- NOT ANSWERING the phone ayy-holes.

No idea who called...political?  There is an election this next Wednesday!

define "legitimate" .... the previous page's entry states they asked if they were interested in "lowering the interest rate on her credit cards".  It's fairly obvious that YOU ARE A TELEMARKETER!   HA HA HA.  Sorry you don't have a real job.

There is nothing that Tim Hugo is doing wrong here, as the Do Not Call list does not apply to political calls.

Also, I just blocked the number.

Called on lineline,Id'ed as Pollrsrch13. From all the prior posts prev.,Have they been inactive since 10-13? Also appears they have a lot more scams than just some kind of political poll !!! But if they want to know if I have natural gas, well...yes ! I do have gas, and it is totally natural!  Scammers they are !!

Rec'd a call this morning, Thurs (02/13/14) 9:58am from 1-202-769-0477 on my home # in No. VA...they hung up when I answered on the last ring...caller ID Identifies them as PollrSrch13...I am on the Nat'l Do NOT Call List...the FEDS COULD stop this S*it if they wanted to...so sick of it!!! Random phone call by some weird number with the world "poll" in it. They made the phone answer by itself or either left a voice message.

pollrsrch13 has been harassing my daily. who are these jerks?

robocall asked series of questions with extreme right wing slant. Said, among other things, does it bother me that Iran has naval war ships right on our coast. Early primary elections start in the next week. I expect to be bombarded with nasty robocalls until its over.

I received a call from POLLRSRCH13 202-769-0477.   I don't answer calls that I don't know, especially long distance.  There are too many scams out there.  I always look them up on 800notes.com first.  If they leave a message on my machine and it is legit, I will call them back.  But, when they call and hang up, I figure this is a definitely a scammer.  I am glad I checked.  I learned a long time ago to not give any personal information on the Internet or the phone. That is good common sense.  Think people.

They tried to leave a message ... something about "oil" ... then they said they may call back.
Now blocked.

A LOT of "polls" originate in area code 202!
