Receivedc a phne call in spanish that aasked to accept a call was waiting for someone to call me so iclick yes but the phone rang with no answer when I look at the number it was a differnt area code then the one that I expected

when it doubt, DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE.
legitimate companies have legitimate websites. The issue is robo-dialers are easy to get and easy to use via VOIP.  so much for cell phone privacy.

I never answer numbers I do not know, and if they don't leave a message, than it was not important. No message left again from this number, and after reading other comments..I won't be answering. There are too many numbers calling my cell number, and I am sick of it. I was on a do not call list, but apparently, that does not apply to scammers. Everyone just needs to beware!

This number called me at 215 on 12/27 no idea who it is and they left no message how can we stop this

got a call today very same number thanks ! didnt pick up , however my caller id said District of Columbia

ok everyone I just received this call again, and yes I answered it! This time it was someone that just went by the name of Agent J?
He started the conversation with:

J:Okay, first, get some contact lenses.
Joints look like they pick up cable.

Second, take your girl to Cambodia.
Get her lobster. Pay more than a dollar.

Third, the second y'all get back from Cambodia
..move your bum assout of your mom's house.

Didnt Answer never answer numbers that wont leave a message

I did a search on this number and got info about it on whycallme.com/  12 complaints so far.

Possible calling card used by someone in the service. I just received a call from my friend who is currently serving in Afghanistan.

12/28 So cal ditto that. Called back # 202-827-9981 was disconnected. Probably a spoofed number.

I got a call too on my cell when i called back nobody picked up so i waited a little while before i called back and it was not in service any more. what the heck is going on!!

12/28/11 - Calls at 11:59 and 12:08 on my AT&T mobile phone in Dallas from (202) 827-9981.  I missed first, but no message and answered second but it was recoding in Spanish.  I don't get a lot of junk calls on my mobile phone, so it is a little unusual.

Seems like a lot of DFW posters on this thread.

Received a call, no message on my cell phone.
Identifies only as "Washington DC".
Clearly some jerk with VOIP service broadcasting a fake caller ID.
Never answer a number you don't recognize!

Additional Info: call at 15:09, EST, Metro Detroit.

Area code 202 is Washingtron D.C. I got a call from this number as well. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. The caller ID came up Washington D.C. I am in Northern California.

I am also Metro PCS and in Northern California. Got a call, didn't answer it though. They didn't leave a message.
