Received two calls from 202-864-1163. First a ironically and hang up. Then a man who barely spoke English informed me (my voicemail) that I am bring sued by the IRS. Per the instructions in the voicemail, I would have six hours to respond.

Go online to www.donotcall.gov  these scam callers wiil be charged $5.00 for each time they call you.  Keep reporting them, and eventually they'll drop your number.

call from irs requesting a call back referring a specific file number. hook is out so then in comes a second call from 360-464-1123 (Seattle area code) stating this was officer SOMEBODY WHO WAS COMING TO ARREST ME IF I DID RESPOND IMMEDIATELY) to this IRS request

Received a robo message on my land line stating that the "IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. Case number to call 202-864-1183."

You know it's fake when they don't even know your name in the message AND that the IRS doesn't call!

Robo call threatening that the IRS is filings a law suit against me. Very disturbing and false identity.

We have gotten two calls from this number.  As I have read in someone else's comment, a pre-recorded voice states that they have been trying to reach us, that this is our final notice, and that the IRS is planning to file lawsuit against us.  We've always heard that if you are going to be audited by the IRS, you will not be notified by a phone call.  This is what alerted us that this may be a fraud.  Subsequently, I found this website about area code 202 frauds.

irs does not call they send certified mailand 800 numbers

if they happen to call again and ask for the last 4 of your ss# fake it they will hang up.  also tell them your call is being traced and have a nice day in prison

Robo call third one today threated me with a lawsuit claiming to be Irs. And for me to call this number 202-864-1183 immediately.

Called me three times today (every two hours roughly): once from this number, and the other two from (516)595-0357. All three had the same automated voice message urging me to call back as IRS is to sue me. I knew instantly, it was a scam; so never called back.

Caveat: all three calls came from a "011" country code, which is Russia. Regardless, the auto-message was in good English by a native speaker, not a foreigner.

Called me at 12:10pm today. Rejected it and left a voice mail on my cell saying "The IRS is filing a law suit against you. Please call etc"

I know it's a scam so I'm adding them to my long block list. A company had to have sold cell numbers because I'm getting them constant now!

202 864 1183 claims to be from the irs saying i am being sued.
Phoney - need them to stop calling.  I have a business to run and don't have time for stupid punks that cannot call directly.

Pre recorded phone message that this is IRS and to call IRS right away with the number given.   The crooks are everywhere all over the world why does these culprits just work a decent job?  These sob's wants easy money. Please whoever get a call from this number they are crooked.

+20 2 8641183 So if you look up a few posts I mentioned they called me around 12:10pm today. I immediately put them on block. Computer changed the dialing to +20 2 8641183 and used the + first in order to call me again. Make sure you block both sets of numbers.

Called again at 3:34pm listed as Unavailable.

SCAMmer auto-calls that show as coming from Washington DC, saying they are the IRS and are suing.
