threatening IRS lawsuit

Says the it's is filing a lawsuit against me and to find more about case to call the number

Received message to call this number which the caller defined as being  the IRS.  When calling back, I spoke with a woman with a foreign accent who identified herself as "Badge IRM 2525".  She then advise that I owed approx. $ 4,890.00 for the years 2008 and 2013 - including Fines - after reading  statement re the impact of not paying (Liens, loss of property, etc.). When she said I filed seperately from my wife, I advised I did not;  when I asked her what my SSN was, she hesitated and was silent. She then hung up.

I understand that the IRS had a website which received input such as this and will advise them accordingly.

If anyone ever receives a call such as thus, I recommend that they ask questions to which she (the Caller) should know the answer to verify that the Caller is fraudulent. If such a call is received after 4:30 PM, ask them why they are working when all other IRS Offices are closed.

Caller said we have been trying to get hold of you

Got a robo call recording that the IRS was going to sue me & freeze my accounts.That message was left. Luckily I called a friend who is a tax accountant. She told me the IRS would never call & leave a recording. Common sense told me that of course but it still makes the heart race when heard.

I told them great, come arrest me, free housing, medical and meals.   Idiot says do not be scared pay us $5000  and we will not come get you.   Told him I would pack my bags and be waiting.

Claims to be from IRS and that money is owed or will be arrested.  Received a number of annoying harrassing calls from this party.
