just got a voice mail from this number said for me or my attorney to call back at end wished me luck lol

Automated message about a case told me to not ignore this call I needed to have my attorney call them regarding a case if I didn't  they could only wish me luck as to what would happen. They did not identify themselves or what it was about.

I just got a call from this #, I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer. They left a robo msg that seemed somewhat intimidating so I thought I would check the # online to see if it was anything I need to worry about. Thanks for the being vigilant and informing others. I do appreciate it.

Got the message call right away or have my attorney call? ...called yesterday and today...not calling back...it's crap someone trying to get your info to screw with your phone, money, bank accounts...never give any of these foreigners your info ...

Scam message about call an attorney or else.

Received call from 202-899-9017 on Jan 14th  As best I could understand the caller said this is the Internal Revenue Service something about a criminal case CA76295 and I or my attorney needed to return the call immediately do not ignore this call if you do I wish you good luck.

Phones calls. The IRS will NEVER call. This is as per my CPA and Attorney. IRS will only contact you by mail

the number 202-899-9017 Left message on my phone. Automated voice saying it was urgent that I or my attorney return the call. If I did not respond to this call, they wish me luck. It did not say what the call was about. I never returned the call. Knew it was a scam.

Fraudulent call

Recvd call & said very important that I call regarding a case number. I hung up.

My girlfriend received the same robo message others are reporting. I called the number from a blocked line, at which time a man sounding like he was in India answered and said he was the IRS. I asked him his name and he said Andrew Hall badge ID#IRM8686. I then informed him that I was a fraud investigator and that impersonating a federal officer is a felony, at which time he told me "to [***] myself " and hung up.

I received, what i believe to be a scam, from this number.

That's another "SCAM" never give them access to your computer...if any 800 number comes on your screen stating to call them so they can fix it...don't!  If they imply they are from "Microsoft" they are not!  per "Microsoft" they only call you if they ARE returning your call...Plus if you do call Microsoft most of the people you speak with will sound like they are from "India" due to outsourcing at it's best.

they left urgent message and when I returned the call it was some barely English speaking guy saying he was from the IRS. He said to hold the line to retrieve my info of which I had given him nothing. He came back and asked me if I lived in a city in which I did not and when I replied he said he must have the wrong number and good -bye. I am contacting the better business bureau and pursuing this further. These people must be stopped!!

unwanted intimidating message

got same call- said from IRS--- called back-- foreign man answered  "HELLO"   at that point I knew it wasnt a real call --- I'm pretty sure NO ONE from the IRS is going to answer the phone with an "HELLO" !!!
