this number no one talk they just call ?so what up with this number

am in southern Ontario, call came in about 4:15 pm on a SUNDAY. What's up with this nonsense !

This call came in at 2:34pm, 30 July 08.  When I answered no one spoke, but I could hear office noises (talking, etc) in the background.  

Numbers that show up on your Caller ID are for a switchboard where your call will end because it will never be transferred, or for a number for the company that the telemarketing company is calling for.

I found the email address for this church online and complained about the call.  Here is their response:

"Thank you for your email. The problem was reported to the police at the end of June and that number is no longer in service. I apologize for any inconvenience."

The phone rang and I answered it. I'm in Montreal Canada...

No one said a word so I swore a but and hung up...

It rang again and I did the same again...

Now I've reported it to my phone company and blocked the [***]...

Received call from this number on SUNDAY, AUGUST 3, 2008 at 5:36 p.m.  No response after having said "Hello" three times.  I thought telemarketers were not allowed SUNDAY calls?  So, on checking www.yellowpages.com, I found that this number now belongs to St. Andrew Regional School in Bridgeport, CT.  It is listed under the category of Private Schools (K to 12).  From there you can find their website, and a place to give your review, and say what you think of that school.  Might be worth a try to let them know what you think of them ??

Got the same thing no one there. Checked around & found the phone number is for Saint Andrew School in CT.  http://pages.cthome.net/st.andrew.school/

i am getting calls evey day from this number and it leaves message about canadian government grants available for small expanding businesses or for people interested in starting a business.i think it said her name was teresa but it was also a recording. when i called number back recording menu begins with options to speak with someone to see about approval or to have number removed from call list.

Called several times, never left message.  203 is in Conneticut, I'm in Calgary, AB. Looks like they're calling all over Canada.

It's not a North American phone number.  It starts with 001-44- then 203-372-4819.  The country code is for the United Kingdom.  This obviously some kind of telemarketer.  I would suggest that you do not bother the school in Connecticut.  They are the victims of having the same number.

I had a "dead air" voice mail from 001-44-203-372-4819.  I looked up country code 44 and found out it't from the United Kindgom.  It's probably a telemarketer or a scammer.
