received this call today...in calgary

I received a call about 10 mins ago again from this number.  I am in Toronto. When I attempted to return the call, a recording asked me to verify the number and call again.  The message on my answering machine is about Small Business fundings...

repeated calls at home from this number.
on picking up, just silence and it hangs up.

I receive, I'd say every month, a call from 203-372-4819. Sometimes, I do answer from one of my old phones, one ofthose which don't show the caller's name. I repeated «hello» for 3 times, then the silent caller hangs up.  AM VERY ENNOYED BY THIS .

Just got my 4th call this week. Fed up, I called the 613 number which led to 1-866-419-1623. I actually spoke to a real person there and asked why they are using a church in CT to reroute their calls. She claimed she just answered phones. Perhaps if we all left angry messages it would help...? Probably not though, so I wrote to info@phonebusters.com to complain instead.
If in Canada, I'd like to ask you to please write to phonebusters as well.
Maybe they will finally do something and our phone's won't be ringing nonstop anymore...

Called 1-613-963-0473 press #1 and then #1 again. A couple of minutes wait time (I thought no one would ever pick up actually, and I would just incur long distance charges waiting). Pierre answered, I told him I wanted my number removed, he asked me for my number (was a bit concerned about that, but how else can they remove it?) and told me it would be removed in 2 minutes. Let's see if that's the case....

Office number is 1-800-6638525. Got another number they use 1-800-773-1923. This is a call centre in Toronto. The compamy that does the original spam calls is located in California. Called the 800 number(1-800-658-7982) and hope that every one who gets one of these calls does. The gentleman who did answer the call was a very fast talker. Used car sales men could take a lesson from him. But if all of those who might complaim or be fed-up with these calls would stick together we might stop the calls. The gentlemen was clearly trying to be evasive. Don't give any information (not even your name). Maybe this spamer's phone costs where they will reach the point that he will consider being honset.

I got two calls from this person within two weeks, 1rst one was from this number second one was 203-371-7881 which is a college in conneticut. Its a girl that keeps calling. She says hi afew times then hangs up?? i dont know anyone in connsticut.

This happen to me but it was a woman's calling from 203 371 7881..I live in Whitby and this person knows to call when I am not home and they leave messages

it seems we are getting a lot of scammy calls from the states/ i think the 'do not call' law has till the first wk of nov/  if calls continue - then report/
can report callers from the states also by calling 1-888-495-8501 - they will direct you to another number/
