I received a call from 203 -923-4781 stating that I had won $9,000 dollars and it was coming from the federal government. THIS WAS A SCAM.!!!  THEY TOLD ME THAT IN ORDER TO CLAIM MY MONEY I WOULD NEED TO GIVE THEM 230.00 FIRST.  THEY STOLE MY MONEY!!!

So recently, I've received a call from this person going by the name of 'Brett Jones' (he had a very thick Indian accent which he was trying to cover up by feigning a Texan accent which was slipping oh so very often) claiming he's from the 'American Govt. Agency' and he wants us to pay the 'government' for something otherwise he's send over the 'cops'. He had called earlier in the past few months on my parents' mobile phones and then several times on our house phone. At first, we just decided to ignore it thinking that he'll stop calling us but after a while my dad kept on getting pissed off at him which, I guess, fueled their delight and gave them the balls to call us again today. At this point I was fed up so I decided to talk to him this time around. He said the same usual stuff, then adding that we 'dunt have to pay ze govurmunt'. I countered him, asking him to please decide whether he's Middle Eastern or from Texas. He kind of stuttered a bit and hung up. Hopefully, this is the last we'll be hearing from this Brett Jones, seeing that we've caught his act. If not, time to contact the real authorities on this issue...

Said he was from the federal government in Washington DC. I asked him to please stop calling and he said, "will you please stop calling me honey" and hung up. Bunch of low life idiot scammers trying to make something for nothing.

I tried to call than number to report and got a message that no one was available.

Never mind. I got it.

Friends just wanted to warned u of a new scam the number is 203-923-4781 four times these people have call me leave no messaged at all and this is the 5th call and I picked up this men with a heavy thick accent ask me if I am Maria and a course I did not say nothing and he say his is calling from the United State of America and that the government can help me and that the government is giving away $9,000.00 and that my name and number was entered and selected and I am able to receive $9,000.00 and I responded do NOT [***] call me no more NOT interested in what u have to say & or offer me and if u do NOT stop calling me I will report your name & number to the State Attorney General .... plz friends remember its a new year and the scammers are hungry for your hard information DO NOT, DO NOT feed into it just remember " if its to good its NOT good " be careful out there its NOT worth it and u don't know the number do NOT pick it up cause while u do and listen to their [***] they are down loading your information and stealing anything u have in your cell phones ...!!!

The call from this number comes to me at all times during early hours of Pacific time and wakes me up not happy and no one on line

I get calls from this number at 8 am. Which would be 5 am on the east coast. They say I won a sweepstakes I never entered! Do not give these clowns any personal info, obviously a scam!

I keep getting a call from someone who knows my name and offers a free federal grant.  This person is obviously not a native English speaker.  It comes from 203-923-4781,also 203-349-2986,

I receive calls from this number, as well as others and just do not answer anymore.  And if I do, I just hang up without speaking to them.  It is annoying, as they call at all hours: during work, evenings, dinner time, etc.   Any long distance # that I do not reconize, I wait to see if they leave a message.  If they do not, it was not important anyway.

These people keep calling my phn to ask for my son's info.. They got nothing better to do but rob people. They need to stop!

Called to tell me I was selected to receive a 9000.00 grant from the us government, asked me to verify my name and address which he gave to me.   He said his name was Sam Johnson and he was with the us government grants office.   Then he gave me a grant reference number and told me to call his boss, Henry Foster, at 202-407-9185 which is a known scam numbers. DO NOT RETURN THE CALLS because if u do return the calls they will keep calling u. Since is tax seasons they will be calling do NOT fall in the easy $$$ web of a scammers !!!!

Got this number calling my phone, I ignored it and it no less the two seconds it called me back. I do not answer numbers I do not recognize and I alway check here to see if it is a scam. I am glad for this site.

Just got a call from these land lovers and they wanted me money.

I got a call from this number but I used Mr. Number and added him to my list of blocked #s...that's it! problem solved! lol!

I received same number but did not pick up, like I do with all numbers I don't recognized. They did not leave a voice message but have called me repeatedly for the past week.

I get this call from this number periodically and they ask for  a certain last  name  ,  I  would say depending on what you are calling for and they usually hang up. When you redial number it  has a recording message they never go through. I hope they catch these callers. Today it was a man with broken English.

JUST CALLED ME I KNEW IT WAS  con. I didn't give him NO info @ all.
