yep portfolio bottom feeders.  They believe that if they call you  5k times you'll cough up money the 5003 time or something.  Let them waste their lives lol

I have told these morons 100 times and blocked their numbers, the person they are looking for is not at my number.  Then they call the next day under another number.  8 am sometimes, this morning (Sunday)at 8:30...up until 10 pm...I got a one ringer blocked call at 11PM last month.  Slime.  I am turning it over to my lawyer today.  I owe no one any money on anything except a 2nd home.

these a@#&%?<s just use a vonage type phone system which can change their caller display to all of use who get these uncalled for phone calls..  tony thanks for that list of phone numbers since I have a lot of those same numbers on my id..

No sense trying to track all the numbers they use.  They use a computer program that continuously procures new phone numbers as they need them.  I just block them on my phone as they come up.

I have gotten 6 - 7 calls from these SOBs for at least the past 2 years.  Every time I get a call from a number I don't know I hit the END button so that the phone stops ringing but they always left a message.  Not once did I ever try to call them back.
And NOT ONCE did I ever answer the phone when they called until they called me on Sunday, 12-29-2013.  Seeing the call was from Alabama  (205) 396-3619 I thought it might be a relative.

When I answered the phone the woman said 'Is this so and so?'  I said yes it is.  She said 'I'm calling from Portfolio Recovery about your Capital One account'.  Forget exactly what she said but it was something to the effect of hopefully we could work out a payment plan for you to get this settled.  I very nastily told the B that I didn't owe anyone any money and I hung up on her.  Well, I do, but all my bills are and have always been current.  I even have an account (current) with Capital One.    

Well, today I get I get a letter.  I open it up, look in the top right corner and it's from Portfolio.  Then I noticed that the balance was $0.00.  So I read on and it said

"Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC ("PRA, LLC") has concluded its (my spelling would be it's) investigation of your dispute and is closing your account.

Then underneath that it had their hours of operations and in BIG bold letters it said:

This letter is from a debt collector.  This communication is made for the limited purpose of responding to your dispute and is NOT an attempt to collect a debt.

You can add (404) 719-4368 to your list.  Personally, I am waiting for the revolution to start and then I am making a trip to Norfolk !  Lock and load !  It is scum-hunting time ! ! !

This is what Google Voice is for... you give anyone THAT number and if for whatever reason something happens, they start calling that number... I have received over 3000 calls in the past two years from these dirt bags. Sucks to be them. Every number they call from (anywhere in the US), is blocked.

All of these numbers are VoIPs, landlines and mobiles.

These idiots call many times per day using different numbers, suppose to be a recovery agency. They never say who they are but are very annoying. Why don't the feds shut these people down as they bother folks all times during the day & eve. They also consort to use a mobile # also that I researched. Thank goodness for caller id ! They keep pursuing a person with my same name !

These people have been calling me the past several days even on weekends, never leaving a message.   I answered today and they were calling looking for an ex girlfriend I had the displeasure of dating who was a total sociopath.  Why would they call my number after all this time?  I've not even allowed her to contact me for over 2 years.

In this Technological age - all these calls are being made by a computer - you do not get a real human unless you actually answer the call.  These bottom feeders are not going to remove your number from their computer program...

Ahhhhh, ring in the new year, here comes Portfoolio Recovery, eager to make a$$es of their pitiful selves. Been calling here for five years now, no one ever so much as picked up the phone. They were a nuisance when they were ringing the phone 4 to six times a day, so I complained to our state atty. general office. After that, I got a letter from PRA's lawyer named Pearson, who wrote "we have decided to cease collection efforts." The so-called debt is unverified, I asked for verification, Sir Pearson stated it could not be verified. Four years later, the vermin are still calling, twice a day, two or three days a week, -- this was call #468 since they "decided to cease collection efforts "--  no one has ever picked up the phone at this end, no one ever will. So much for "cease collection efforts." Bottom-feeding pond scum, can't help themselves.

Gives me a chance to inform people, do not pick up, if you do, do not converse, talk, give out any information including even your name, just hang up. The so-called debts they are trolling for cannot be verified, may not be yours, and are way past statute of limitations, so ignore them.
