Recvg calls from 206-456-0661 supposedly from 'Windows Techical Support".  Caller has accent from India or that region.  Have told them repeatedly to stop calling, reported them to Do Not Call Registry for violations, even said I dont' have a computer and they then start arguing with me.  Getting 5 calls a day on my cell.  Contacted Verizon, they have blocked number.

I can't believe I am reading this.  I found this post while looking for a cleaning service today online.  I own the condo located at 1004 Bourbon and have since 2007.  At the time you are discribing I was even living there full time.  I can't believe that this scam is/was going on and that my condo was involved.  I am glad you figured it out before you came down to New Orleans or I would have been very surprised when you showed up.  I also found my condo listed for sale today online.  What is going on in this world?

Kimberly Lamberton had sent me a message after replying to her Craigslist ad here in Vermont. For a 1bedroom apartment all utilities included, including electric. She said due to an accident that she is unable to speak on the phone but that her husband can. They were living in Vt but after the accident they moved in with family in Texas. She said that I struck her as "an amazing person and trustworthy" to rent her fully furnished apartment. I would have to send 550$ for deposit and 550$ for 1st rent. After I send the money western union she would send documentation and keys FedEx or DHL to my old address. I asked for at least a copy of the lease because I said this feels like a scam. She sent a descriptive lease agreement, e-signed by her as a PDF. Is this a scam? I believe it is but can they really send a PDF "Agreement Lease"?

I received an email just like this one about an ad on craigslist exactly like this one. It was about a furnished apartment in San Rafael and the couple wanted me to wire money through Western Union to Ukraine to Emmanuel Lamberton. The emails in this post are identical to the ones I recieved. I went to the address they provided me and spoke with one of the neighbors who informed me that neither of them owned the apartment and to not waste my time or money.
