A man calls me with a thick East Indian accent. Says he is calling from Microsoft Security Support, his accent was so thick, I didn't feel like trying to understand his English. I knew Microsoft doesn't do cold calls, so I hung up.

This dude calls me back immediately, starts his script reading all over again, Microsoft, blah, blah, Security, blah, virus, blah.  I ask him how he got my phone number, he evades the question trying to lead me into checking corrupted files on my computer. I tell him I am at work and hang up.

My phone rings again imediately after I hang up, this time from (206) 445-6544 and I don't answer. It stops ringing when voicemail picks up.

My phone rings again within seconds of the previous call, I answer. This time it's another Indian named "John", who claims to be a supervisor at Microsoft Security Support . I demand his phone number at Microsoft so I can verify his employment there. He says that Microsoft contracts services through many different companies, and he is not really at Microsoft. I tell him to not call my number again and hang up.

Idiots.  My conclusion is that this is a scam operation. If they call again, I will play along, and then after wasting their time for as long as I can, reveal that I am a Mac user for the lulz.

I got a call for this number and these people are claiming to be from Microsoft~

Just recieved 2 calls from same man with heavy accent claiming something about being with Microsoft and I have been infected with some kind of virus on my computer. He just wanted to allow him to get into my computer and do a fix...I laughed and said "What kind of idiot do you think I am?" I also used some other language I cannot repeat here. I blocked the number out.

I got a call from this number... and the accented man claiming to be "Paul Cooper" informed me that they were calling from the tech department at microsoft.  I was curious as to how they got my home number via my i.p address, but he didn't seem to want to answer his part.   I gave them the benifit of the doubt for a minute or two, as he told me to open my computer/manager and said he was aware of all my computer errors.
 The next step was to go to a web site where I would allow them to operate my computer remotely to fix it.  MAJOR RED FLAG there !!!!!!!!!!!  He assured me I could call back their toll free number and ask for him directly... even gave me a MS type employee number.  After reading this forum however, I think I will avaoid any further contact.  the toll free he gave me is 1-800-777-7223.  I don't see this number on any of the legit Microsoft Help pages.

Picked up and male caller said vida vida vida and then hung up. Received call. did not leave message.a couple of hours earlier received a call from 206.445.6544-male voice said hello hello, then hung up. Both seattle area #'s.

My son just got a phone call from this number.  Heavy Indian accent and said he's calling from Microsoft. Any idea how to stop it?

Man claims to be from Quick Cash Advance representing over 300 pay day lenders.  Said affidavit will be downloaded and I will be charged with 3 crimes if I don't pay $574.28 immediately.  If I go to court it will be $5484.87.  However, while he had all my personal info, he could not provide me with the date of the pay day loan or the original creditor.

Said his call back number is 856-677-8927.  When you call it, he answers "Legal department, how can I help you."

Lady with a heavy foreign accent called stating that she was with the manufacturer of Cialis and wanted to verify that i bought some generic cialis from Canadian Pharmacy. She stated that this was unsafe to take and that i should get rid of it. she said that they are willing to mail me the original cialis at $ 2.00 per pill which is dirt cheap. She asked me for my credit card # and I refused to give it to her. Sounded like it could be some sort of scam.

I've been receiving calls from this company as well and have no idea why they keep calling.  They keep leaving nasty messages and when I call back no one answers.  I finally answered one of their calls to only be in a yelling match with these fools.  I finally started talking only Spanish and the stupid guy hung up.  I've put my cell # on the nationwide DO NOT CALL LIST so these pest will stop buggin me!

Over the past few months (at least since 12/1/2010), I've been getting calls with various faked from phone numbers, and of the 4 numbers today, "206-445-6544" was used once. All Indian voices, all asking for Elizabeth or Alesia Bits or someone else, and all offering a 70% promo for Cialis and other drugs.

Each time I have asked to be taken off the list, and they say sure, but the calls continue. One phone agent took issue with me and said they weren't making a regulated "sales" call, but rather informing me of a "promotion", and they weren't obligated to stop calling.

I always ask who is calling, and mostly they hang up. One person identified himself as "Bruce" calling from "United Pharmacy".

got a call on my phone 1206-4456544 telling me i had a virus on my computer and i would need to go to my computer and do what he told me to do so i said i don't think so i don't let someone i don't know to tell me how to get a virus off my computer and he hung up i tried to call back but it does nothing it want ring a BEWARE

Call after call after call from, 206-445-6544.  I was able to call back and got on the do not call list.  I will see what happen.

Total Scam.  This is one of 3 numbers that has been calling me.  Threating me with court fees, fines, and criminal charges for an outstanding payday loan.  I asked for the loan company's name, my account number, the loan orgination date, and the original loan amount.  He "transferred" me to the supposed company, who had no info either.  Told me account had been charged off, and all the info was in the hands of the law firm trying to collect for them.  Too bad I have never had a payday loan.  I googled the company they claim I had my loan through, and there's local offices nearby.  I called one, and before I could even get my question out of my mouth, she said, "It's a scam."

Received call this evening; did not bother to answer as the name TRIKON looked somehow vaguely familiar. Since I couldn't remember I looked it up and ended up here. I won't bother to answer if they call again. I already disconnected my answering machine because it was collecting nothing but spam and political ads. Since I sort of recognized the name TRIKON, I assume they've tried here before. I no longer answer any call that doesn't carry a name or a number I know to be legitimate. Glad to know this one isn't legitmate, whoever TF they may be. It amazes me that being on the Do Not Call list and renewing it has done so little good.

I got a call telling me there was a virus on my computer Windows.  I don't use windows (use MAC) so I knew there was something fishy about the call...

I received a call from this number from someone with a heavy accent who said he was from "Medicare.gov."  He asked if I had trouble walking, sitting down or standing up. When I said I didn't, he hung up.

This number called my phone and I didn't answer becasue I was at work.  It looked suspicious so I googled it and thankfully now I know not to the answer the phone call.

Today is the second time I have received a call from some unknown man with a heavy accent stating I owed money for a payday loan.  I have never ever had a payday loan.  This man had all my information.
The first time he called me it was on my cell now months later they called me on my work number.  I wish there was a way to catch these people that are probably not even in the U.S. trying to steal from innocent people.

Got a call from 206-445-6544 (Trikon). Man had a heavy middle eastern accent. He knew my name and said it was a scheduled call regarding my recent computer (or windows for my computer?) purchase. I couldn't really understand him and told him so. He went on asking questions about my recent computer purchase and a recent Windows purchase and that this was a scheduled call (neither of which i have purchased...i'm a mac user). I told him he must have the wrong number and he hung up.
