this creepy keeps texting me perverted messages and calling repeatedly at strange hours of the night.

Received 1/2 dozen calls and then hang up.  I have blocked the number.

Also got a call just now from this number... They keep calling you guys and leaving text messages? That sucks. I hope they don't continue on my phone.

Received 22 calls in the last three days;  no one answers, just hangs up when I start to tear him a new one.

Centurylink doesn't offer *60 blocking anymore since they took over Qwest, my old carrier.  As Centurylink doesn't employ CSR's on weekends, I'm stuck w/these non-stop calls.  Thinking about calling local LE...but it the little piece of $hit who's doing this is using a disposable/Tracfone, nothing going to come of it.

Amazon customer service called me back, at my request. was just wondering where the call originated.

This is Amazon call back customer service. You have to initiate this before they will call you. Definitely not a robo or other problem caller.

Why should Amazon call somebody 22 times unless the fake Amazon service is from a boiler room? They should name themselves their usual crap Card Service handled by Rachel and slaves.

This was a legitimate call from Amazon Customer Service (for me, in this instance, anyway) because I initiated it on my account and told them to call me.

I received a call this morning from Amazon Customer Service at my request to resolve a shipping issue

Don't believe the above messages claiming this is a legit Amazon call back. Note how the sock puppets use almost identical language in claiming it's a valid call. I specifically have Not requested any interaction with Amazon and they do Not have this number anywhere on file. This is a robo call telemarketer. The alleged callerID number *may* be a true Amazon number, but telemarketers can easily fake the outbound ID to appear to come from anywhere.

If people actually expected and received a legit callback from Amazon, do you think that they'd report the number here?

I just got a call from his number, said he was Arthur from Amazon cust service regarding an order I placed last August....and how since they couldn't fill it they would give me a credit on my Amazon account.  So I didn't initiate the call but I was surprised to get it...so maybe someone is pretending to be Amazon for scamming purposes?  Let's see if I really get that email credit he promised me.  I sure won't be clicking on any links...

No scam for me. I needed help to return something to Amazon and this was the number that called me back. However, I could tell it was an outsourced call so maybe this same number is being used by others besides Amazon customer service.
