- MichaelJust received a call from this number. I recently received an e-mail saying that I was perfect match for a "lab engineer" position. The e-mail was from a recruiter at BrickRed Systems at http://www.brickredsys.com/. The person could speak very little English and sounded like she was calling internationally.
When I told her that I didn't have the skills to be a "Lab Engineer". She asked if I have done technical support work before or if I had Microsoft experience. I told her that I had Microsoft experience...which somehow made me qualified for the job (though my experience was in accounting at Microsoft). I asked her what the job entailed and her phone cut off in the middle of the description.
I just went back and looked at the e-mail and it seemed like a phony e-mail. It is below:

There is no real description of the job and no real skills listed. I have worked for a company like this before and they are very exact about what they are looking for. I blocked the number so she couldn't call back. - kaiteI just received 3 calls from this number in less than 10 minutes. The called ID said it was Amazon Customee Service. They wanted to know my name and why did I contact them? Well, if I had contacted them they would already know my name wouldn't they since they called me.
I did not contact Amazon.com. This is a bogus contact and you should be careful what information you give our over the phone. These people are trying to scam you.- Caller: Amazon Customer Service (probably not)

- secret humanthis is an amazon customer service number. I returned a call to them and the operator was somewhat lost as to why they had called me, but she and I concluded that it related to a question about my self-published book which is for sale on Amazon. She asked my email address and my mailing address so it could have been a spoof, but then she told me a specific thing I had done relating to my book which proved that it was really Amazon's customer service.
