Just received a call from this number. I recently received an e-mail saying that I was perfect match for a "lab engineer" position.  The e-mail was from a recruiter at BrickRed Systems at http://www.brickredsys.com/.  The  person could speak very little English and sounded like she was calling internationally.

When I told her that I didn't have the skills to be a "Lab Engineer".  She asked if I have done technical support work before or if I had Microsoft experience.  I told her that I had Microsoft experience...which somehow made me qualified for the job (though my experience was in accounting at Microsoft).  I asked her what the job entailed and her phone cut off in the middle of the description.

I just went back and looked at the e-mail and it seemed like a phony e-mail.  It is below:

There is no real description of the job and no real skills listed.  I have worked for a company like this before and they are very exact about what they are looking for.  I blocked the number so she couldn't call back.

I just received 3 calls from this number in less than 10 minutes.   The called ID said it was Amazon Customee Service. They wanted to know my name and why did I contact them?    Well, if I had contacted them they would already know my  name wouldn't they since they called me.  

I did not contact Amazon.com.  This is a bogus contact and you should be careful what information you give our over the phone.  These people are trying to scam you.

Someone used my cell phone to call 206 922 0880!  I saw the number appear on my call logs showing I called that number yesterday afternoon, but I didn't call that number!!!
I called it this morning to hear who was at the other end, but all I got was a busy signal...

OK...I see now where the number belongs to Amazon and YES, I did talk to someone yesterday afternoon from Amazon!  Whew.  I'm such an idiot.

They claimed to be Amazon I want to know if they really are

I received a call from this number at 5:49 P.M. on December 3, 2013. This call was not answered because I did not recognize the number.

this telephone number called me three times in 45 minutes...did not answer or reply.....

This number called me said they were amazon he called 5 times in three minutes. But here's the thing I was never on amazon

this is an amazon  customer  service  number. I returned a call to them and the operator was somewhat lost as to why they had called me, but she and I concluded that it related to  a question about my self-published book which is for sale on Amazon. She asked my email address and my mailing address so it could have been a spoof, but then she told me a specific thing I had done relating to my book which proved that it was really Amazon's customer service.

Amazon Customer Service used this number to call me and verify information.  It was legitimate.

This was Amazon customer service returning a call initiated by me.

I never called Amazon I have no idea why Amazon would call me it's very strange Amazon  also called me on a Saturday night at 8:30 in the evening

It was Amazon's customer service calling back about an inquiry I made. I doubt they called someone 22 times in 3 days as one of the first poster says. It was a legit call

I had called Amazon.com regarding a product issue. I received this number, missed answering and wondered who it was from. I
called the number back and got the Amazon.com customer service greeting. Problem solved.

received a call but no message...I hang up when I see any unfamiliar number on my caller id. You can contact the federal communication commission and they will investigate & hopefully prosecute these phishing purves....www.fcc.gob...is their website...good luck...mw.
