Scam - robo call - guess the GOVMENT doesn't care.  Don't give any info. to this douche!

I have received several calls from this company, using a pre-recorded script from a "John" saying that a medical alert device has already been paid fpor and they want to ship it tome today. When I pressed "1" to speak with someone, dead silence then a disconnect.
How can I get permanently removed from this list???

Caller ID showed "California".  Received a call about a medical alert system.  The caller said it was the "I've fallen and can't get up" kind of device".  The caller was reading from a script saying the device and shipping was paid for but they needed you to press "1" to accept delivery or "5" to refuse delivery.

Just received the third call from this number to schedule the delivery of my "medical alert system." Have told them I didn't order and hung up before.  Today they said it had been ordered and paid for by either a friend or family member. I told them not to call, and that I didn't want it and a recording came on asking that I state I decline delivery.  What is this nuisance about?  If they call one more time I am telling them this is the second call and I am reporting them to the FTC.

It's a recording that sounds like a real person but you cannot actually speak to anyone until you press "1" to "confirm" your delivery.  Then they try to hit you up for a credit card number.  The sole purpose is to con you into  a monitoring contract where the real money is made.  The equipment is cheap.

THIS IS A SCAM, BEWARE SENIORS, i am not even a senior and received this call, happen to look in my local newspaper this am and hugh article about this scam, don't pick up don;t push any buttons cause you do not want to agree to this and nobody in your family as the caller is saying applied for this Medical Alert system, I am in Michigan and it looks like are BBB and Attorney General and Consumer protection is aware of this scammer.

John with a free system from Medical Alert...

The caller, repeatedly call us by using different numbers & area code. This number, 209676-3148. It seemed a recorded message. : This is John". He kept talking about " deliver senor medical alarm & did not allowed me to answer. I filed complaints on 05/15/2013. Many people  filed complaints with  www.800notes after me.Today, 06/06/2013. He called @ 19:31, and would not let me spoke.
When I returned the call few minutes later. I received this message" Message one  and zero, the number you have dialed is not in service..."

I haven't received calls from 209-676-3148, but I am being called by people that did. My phone number is within the 10 digits of 209-676-3148, but elderly people keep calling just 7 digits of the number, and get my local number. They are usually very irate and yell at me before hanging up on me. I know the telemarketers are not actually calling me, but I assure you this is just as annoying.

This is my complaint on 05/16/2013.The caller, called us many times. used different phone numbers with  different area code.
The caller claims " He is John, tried to deliver Medical Alert we saw on TV. Today he used 209-676-3148
called us @17:14. Each time, John kept talking & would not let me talk. I returned the call right away. It asks me to  press   0 to speak the person. When I press 0. " Grasshopper transfer you call to 0, then just music
Today,19:05. John called me again, I picked up the phone, he kept silent and I ask : You called me many time, why don't you talk now." He waited for a while , then hung up.
I returned the call 2 or 3 minutes later. The message is" message zero one, then umber you just dialed is not  working number...."

How I block unwanted call?

Caller said he was raising money for the Communist Party or the Democratic Party which are essentially the same.

Filed complaint with the White House.  Expect them to get on it in about four years or so.

this number called me & showed up on caller id - but no1 on the line

I got a few calls from John, then after awhile I listened to the whole thing and it said if you dial 5 they would no longer call???
