DirecTV... left them 4 months ago. Put the call on my reject list but I get calls constantly.

Same as above. DirecTV is obnoxious.

I keep telling them to stop calling me and they keep calling anyway.  They didn't care about me when I was a customer, so I don't want them bothering me now that I'm not a customer.  How do you make these people stop calling???

Register your phone on the national Do Not Call list. If they still call you after 31 days of joining the list you can make a complaint. The more complaints they receive the more likely they will be investigated and/or fined. As a former DTV employee, I can tell you that you can also ask to speak to a manager in either the Customer Retention Group or the Office of the President. If it truly is DirectTv (or any of the other providers) calling you, when you reach one of these managers tell them that you want to be placed on their DO NOT CALL list and if they do not comply you will start filing legal complaints. Most legitimate companies do NOT want to get a bad reputation. If it is an outside authorized reseller for DirecTv/DishNetwork, etc they will give you the run around and won't transfer you to an actual manager, however you can find out who it is that you're speaking to and report them by calling the DirectTv or DishNetwork 800 numbers and asking for CRG or OotP (as mentioned above) to file a complaint. After enough complaints they pull the outside resellers authorization to use their name, sell their products or represent them in any way.  Good luck.

Count me in on the lawsuit...Just for [***] and giggles I called this number, and waited an hour with unpleasant hold music...this needs to stop!

I receive several calls from DirectTV  every week, former customer, trying to get me back.  Never!!!!!!!!!

I get calls from this numbet.I called back recording says direct tv.they call at least 3 times weekly.very annoying.Direct

I left DTV also and they call on a weekly basis and send junk in the mail almost daily

I left them 7 years ago and they still dun me weekly by  mail.  They are relentless, but, at least, my phone is no longer assaulted.   Just think of how many trees we could save if we could stop these idiots.  Another is TimeWarner, which we cancelled 20 yrs. ago, believe it or not.

Received call, caller ID said "Unknown" from Abilene, TX.   No message left, did not answer.  I also dropped DirecTV in the fall.will take some of the steps others have suggested.  Put number in my Call Block list.

Had formally subscribed to Direct TV but went with another company when I moved.  Received a call from this number, answered a couple questions as to why I was no longer a customer, the lady thanked me for my time and that was it.  No trying to get me to resubscribe or sales offers, just a quick 2 minute call.  Haven't had a call from them since.

I have repeatedly asked Direct TV to put me on their do not call list and I continue to get sales calls from them.  Can I sue them for harassment or something?

5/24/2016 received one call, did not answer. I see from previous comments it was DirecTV wanting me back as a subscriber.
Am back with local cable company getting 2 dozen channels for which DTV wants $40 a month MORE than my cable provider. Bonus: I now have only a few SELLING CHANNELS to wade thru whereas DTV had DOZENS!!!

Please do not call.

DirectTV after i cancelled their rip-off, unreliable products and services. Truly the worst. They are TOAST.
