No that is not true nor is it legal.  A certified, return receipt stop calling me letter telling them that you revoke any TCPA privileges and that you want a written copy of their do not call policy they are required to have and to furnish as per law.  If they continue to call after that, simply sue them for $500 or more per call.  That will certainly get their attention.

This number calls my phone 3 or more times a day never leaves a message in reading the other comments I used to be a direct tv customer as well not sure because a message is never left

I left Directv in June of '17- they are relentless, calling from different numbers, and never giving up. I will never go back, am happy streaming, happy to have cut the cord- wish they would leave me alone.

I was with them for 19 yrs before I left for Spectrum. Every time they call they ask what would it take to get me back and I tell them give me the Dodgers channel and the Pac 12 channels. Some of the callers lie through their teeth and say "No problem, we can do that for you". Directv has never been able to carry either.

Said he was with at&t. I told him I was not interested and to not call again.  We will see what happens.

Direct would never send check for refund. Sent debit card, I don't deal with cards, told them never call again till I get my $75 in check, still waiting,

It’s DTV...I left them at the beginning of the year because they charge to much for too less! I got charged $100 for a service visit. The box was old so they had to replace it. If it’s not my fault for it not working I should not have had to pay for that Service visit!

Keep receiving calls from Direct TV ( 210-322-4065). Picked up one & told the girl NOT INTERESTED & TO STOP CALLING. As You can see THEY HAVE...We ALL NEED TO BAND TOGETHER FOR A LAW SUIT...

Just one of a multiple of numbers that Direct TV uses to harass me about why I left them two years ago. Tired of this BS. Blocking this number just like I did all of the rest.

Why is directv calling me.  If I cancel obviously it mean your service sucks, prices over the top.   Why would I go back when there's reasonable apps out there some free, get free channels with my $9 antenna no thanks Directv.

Received a call from AT&T/Directv, inquiring as to why I cancx with them after 2 years of service.  I informed them that I went to streaming and am quite happy.  Customer service rep was extremely rude and pushy with questions.  Directv should know what the cost of streaming is (Sling, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime) as part of their sales pitch and not bully the customer into answering questions which are clearly none of their business.  Of all cable providers out there, I used to like Directv the best.  However, I was not happy with not finding something to watch - same old, same old -, the disputes these cable providers have with major networks (NBC/KSL took close to a year to resolve), having to clear my dish from snow, and the increase in prices.

"selling" Direct Tv "packages"...to good to be true,of course, as usual...but really, really quick at asking ....your credit / debit card number, expiry date, etc. Just put the number on a no-call list or just block this number.
DO NOT ANSWER ANY CALL FROM THESE SCAMMERS, BECAUSE THEY WILL CALL YOU AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN, IF THEY KNOW YOU ANSWER.
