    I too have recently left Direct/AT&T- I don't know if it's them or not because I refuse to answer - I don't recognize the number.  But they call at the same time every day - very annoying

    Kixxit, actually, the DNC rarely if ever works.  In fact some say the people at the DNC, when someone registers their phone number(s), actually sell those numbers to telemarketing friends.  Simple answer???  If some number comes up that you don't recognize as someone you know or do business with, don't answer the phone....

    Ever since I've cancelled my DirecTV, I keep getting calls throughout the day and night. DirecTV needs to stop selling our numbers to different vendors that do not have any purpose in calling. If I wanted DirecTv, I would reactivate, as far as I know, I wont ever again d/t these nonstop calls. I don't care if it doesn't come from DirecTv, directly, but our numbers are being sold elsewhere.

    Fired DirecTV about two months ago, Now they are the first scam call that I've gotten this year, call came in @6:41pm 17 Jan 17. All they got was the answer machine for I do not and will not answer a strange number, they can kiss my you know what before I do, but I do add them to my log of noxious phone numbers which one day I will publish on the net!

    This number belongs to DirecTV, more likely their retention dept. I had cancelled my service with them and they called to see why I cancelled and what they could do to keep my business. Considering I received terrible service through them and they refused to cancel my service four times theres nothing they can do to get me as a customer again.

    No kidding. I just cancelled Directv at the end of January. I told them exactly why I was cancelling. I have gotten calls every couple of days from random numbers and it is a directv sales call. I block it just to have a different number call. Its harassment.

    Pay 2 years advanced  on 2Nd 2 year contract after16 months into contract they notify me  rates went up!!? Canceled next day. Can't do Business with company

    I had Direct tv over a year ago. I started having tech trouble and they were unable to assist during my available hours. They wanted to charge me for the month i would be w/o service. I told them to cancel it. They came back w what about half of that? Um..no. i have been getting calls for the past year. I ask them to take me off their list but they keep calling. One agent told me not to answer the calls or they would keep calling. They call from a diff number every time!  Daily!!! I have to block every one of them. It doesnt stop them. It will ebb for a month or two...then daily calls again.

    Put their # on a reject list. It won't even ring it will automatically be rejected. You will get a notice it was rejected.

    Just got a call from t his number-did not answer it. I know it is Direct TV. I canceled their service after 13 years they kept going up and up on the bill. It was crazy.  When I did  have them and they merged with AT&T was never able to log on to my account to pay. They had me bundled with someone else I didn't even know. I didn't given have a bundle I had a stand alone account I had called them 14 times trying to remedy this even sent a letter to the President. No luck, so I chose to go with another company. Evidently someone has green eyes there!!

    Called the number back and put them on speaker as it was on hold.  Waited maybe 10 minutes before they answered.  They then took my number to remove me from the call list.  Soooo let us see how that goes...  I am sure I will hear from them again.

    DirecTV. I cancelled my service almost 2 years ago and I keep getting asked why! I tell them I have a bundle far better than what they could offer and they don't believe me. I'm able to get 100 mbps and they could only offer me DSL. I finally asked to put on the Do Not Call list...Let's see if it actually works.
