- Antoinette in AzI just received a call from this # same b/s he's telling everyone else don't ignore the call if you do have your attorney ready and good luck. Well I researched the # and I found this site, so me being a fighter I wanted to get some info on how they got my cell # and one thing I kno for sure I don't owe the IRS , so needless to say I called the # it goes no where busy tone then hang up. I knew it was a scam as soon as I heard the voice mail .
- Mary Kay S.Recieved a call from this # at 9AM Mst. today & the person said his name was Officer Eric Foster & mentioned contacting a lawyer & if i didn't call this # back...then they wished me LUCK !

- Leah HintzAt 1:49pm MI time got a call from some man claiming to be from the IRS. He miss pronouced my name, when I stated my name correctly, he appologised for the wrong # and hung up. I gave him no other information and he did not offer any either
- Caller: IRS
- ronaldI got the same numnuts. OFFICER FOSTER. This guy said I could save jail time if I sent $4900.00 what he said I owe direct to him. I told him I ll see him in court. Dont even bother to call back.
- Katie KarrDefinitely a scam. My husband, my father and my best friend are ALL certified public accountants. First of all, the IRS would send a LETTER if there is a problem. They would NEVER call and demand money in this way. (They might demand money if you owe it but it would go through the proper channels via U. S. Mail, never via a random telephone call!)
I have also gotten a call (from a different phone number) telling me I missed jury duty and I needed to send money or risk arrest. I laughed and hung up on the caller. No one came to arrest me because it was another scam.
If just ONE person falls for this, the scam works and these calls will never stop. Sadly, too many people do.- Caller: San Antonio, TX
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Stanley RiversI got a message . It say this is lawyer without name. I knew it is scam.
- J VencesMy husband received a call from officer Foster telling him that he owes lots of money to the IRS that he was doing fraud for the last past 3 years and that he need to pay, there were gonna freeze the banks accounts and that there was a patrol car watching outside our home. My husband hung up the phone. Today my husband call back the number and they answer with a name we couldn't understand that it was blah blah from the IRS. My husband told him to Go F*&** his mother and told him he was gonna report him to the police and the guy just laughed.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. - sam replies to Minnesota GirlI got the same message with the "good luck" crap. You can report them to the FTC.
- Sam replies to ElrdeeI got the same message! WTH was that accent? I couldn't make it out, but it was definitely not a Texan accent, which is where the number appears to be from.
- Anonymous in NYI got the same call. Recorded voice speaking very quickly and in an odd accent that I couldn't place. Definitely not from Texas, which is where the number showed to be from. Claiming to be from the IRS and threatening me that if I didn't call back right away, he could only wish me good luck, as I'd be in serious trouble. Go to this link: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov and click on the red link at the top of the page where it allows you to report an imposter claiming to be from the government.

- I was not born yesterdayA very harsh sounding man calling from this number stating that I should call back and if I do not returned the call, good luck. He said something about the IRS. His accent was very thick so I didn't catch all of what he was trying to pull. I just happen to work in the same building as the FBI. I went upstairs and gave them the number...
- LF| 1 replyI received same voicemail as others have reported. "good luck to you if you don't call back....."
blah blah blah - Janie replies to LFSo, the two choices these scammers are offering are:
1. Good luck for us if we don't call back, or
2. A world of unnessesary anxiety and possible stealing of our money if we call back
I think I'll choose option #1 - the good luck! - Brenda DeLongLeft voice message saying.......now don't try to disregard this message and don't return the call and if I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation badly unfolds on you. So give me a call back as soon as you get this message. Thank you.
