warranty call- don't feel its legit.  blocked the number

This number keeps calling me..

Got two calls from them today. Both started out with background noise. In the first, the lady hung up after asking if she had reached the right person. In the second, the guy said he was calling about my 2010 Dodge and that he was from the Vehicle Processing Center. I asked how he got my info, and he said I should ask his supervisor.

Then I asked the name of his company, and he said it was the "Vehicle Processing Center." I asked which one, and he compared it to "The Home Depot," saying that Vehicle Processing Center was his company's name.

As I was indicating to him that I did not wish to be contacted again, he abruptly hung up.

Got a call from this number on Friday and when my husband answered for me, they just hung up on him.
Just received a second call from them today and let it go to voicemail. If it were important, they'd leave a message.

There is a company called "Auto Processing Center" saying my warranty is almost up and that this "is my final notice" to extend my warranty. When I dug in a bit, they hung up. I did some reading and this is a scam. Be careful.

I get calls from this place 2 to 3 times a day, different numbers everytime (TX, CA, WI).  I have asked them numerous times not to call, as I am on the do not call list, but they continue to call.  I block the numbers but of course they use a different number everytime.  I have explained to them that I no longer have the car they are trying to sell me a warranty for (bought a new one and do not need warranty) they hang up and then call back an hour later or the next day.  So annoying!  2 calls already today.

on do not call registry..yet the have called several times. they do not leave message.    i read the other complaints and it seems we all have a bmw and get calls and snailmail from these jerks.   I have blocked them

Doesn't matter the kind of car. They've tried this with BOTH of my cars, 2 separate times. BLOCKED!!!

Just got this call.  I blocked the number but I wish there was a way to legally get back at them.  I too am suppose to be on the "Do Not Call" list.

Since none of my cars have been bought new there has never been a warranty on them. This is a scam and nothing but a scam. I will be talking with the Arkansas Attorney General about this TODAY!

This is probably one of Click4Support's scams that they are perpetrating.   Just hang up and block them.  They'll call you again with different numbers and situations.   Never give personal information to people who contact you and make sure you're calling a legitimate number.  

So sick of telemarketer calls to my cell phone.  apparently the Do Not Call List doesn't apply.  They're trying to sell extended warranty on my vehicle, but when I tell them I ONLY purchase extended warranty through a dealership when i purchase a vehicle, they make rude comments and hang up.  I keep blocking these people and they just call back from a different #.  

Received a call from this number (my number is in the Do Not Call national registry).  The guy offered an extended warranty on a car I no longer own.  When I indicated that their records were not updated he hung up!

I agree, if caller ID doesn't reveal any info, or if caller is not someone we know, or deal with, we don't answer and have our answering machine on all the time.  It's still annoying, because they do call when we are asleep.  These days, with everyone having cell phones, that may not give a Caller ID other than the State, you just don't know if it could even be a neighbor who moved in from out of state!  It's crazy!  But to constantly call for weeks, even months?  I would think they would realize we aren't going to answer.  And FORGET about the Do Not Call Registry...another Gov. Idea that is a bunch of crap!

Phone number is 210-892-2450. Received 2 calls in the last  hour.  No one is on the line when I answer and say "hello" twice so I hang up.  I read that this is a sales call.  Need to have them stop calling me.  It's harassment.

I received a call from 210-892-2450 I didn't answer due to the fact I never answer numbers I don't know. And yes, I to will be blocking them thanks to reading all these posts.

this number has been calling my cell phone for DAYS!!!!

I have been getting these extended car warranty calls from all sorts of different numbers (from all over the country) including this one. I was stupid enough to pick up the first one and told them I was not interested, but now they won't stop calling. 3 calls yesterday from 413 area code. This one today. How do we shut these [***] down? There is no way this is legal.
I read somewhere that the dealerships sell out your contact info - that's how they know who you are and what make and model you have. Next time, I will make sure ask the dealer if my personal info will be shared.
