Got a phone call

This number called today with the caller ID of "DO NOT PICK UP". So, if you know me, I like to follow procedures and complied by not picking up.  Thanks to all who shared their experience with these scammers.

Called 3:10pm Pacific Time. Name displayed as DO NOT PICK UP. Answering machine recorded background noise, likely a scammer call center. Call now blocked.

have received 3 phone calls today from this number...........told them all 3 times to piddle off

On my call, the caller ID stated "DO NOT PICK UP" instead of displaying a name. No message was left.

This number calls me every 20 minutes!  My phone even says, Do Not Pick Up!

After reading about this scam, I had my computer ready for another call from these dorks.....I followed all his instructions and provided him my ip address, username, password etc. what he did not know was I had laid a trap. I traced their IP, and sent a trojan virus hidden in data packs, once he thought he obtained my info he quickly hung up. I have back tested to see if the pack sent corrupted their ip address and indeed it had. I went thru back door and and see the virus acted as a blender to their programs. Please know your revenge on these chumps has been had. No thank you's needed...Anonymous.

This number called at least 4 times today. The caller ID came up as "Do Not Pick Up". So I did not pick up!

I have received healthcor calls but now they have changed their caller id to "Do Not Pick Up".

Same crap here i told this creepy jerk you have two choices hangup or face the firing squad........clicked very fast.

Caller id showed call from this # New York with the name Do Not Answer showing. Clue #1.

Indian fellow says he was calling from Windows technical support and that it looks like my computer has been getting hacked for the past few weeks. Sure-

I went along with him as he gave me instructions to open my event viewer. I wrote on paper but did not do as I planned to report them and wanted to know what they were asking to do.

I stalled him and then dialed their # from my cell # and got a circuit busy. Then I just hung up.
I called my company's tech department to report it. He called back but I did not answer

The calls I've gotten today have also been from "Do Not Pick Up".  :-)

Just had a call from these same guys. Caller ID said "DO NOT PICK UP." I did out of curiosity. They said they were calling from the Windows Support Center (or something like that). I called shenanigans and told him Microsoft doesn't spontaneously call people about their computers. I then hung up.

You're better off not picking up. Or, tell them you use a Mac running OS X.

Or that you're Doctor Who and you're so glad their call finally reached you in a black hole, or something similar...

I keep getting calls from this number.  My caller ID actually states the call from as "Do Not Pick Up."  First attempt I answered the call and the caller stated that my computer had a virus and he was calling to fix it for me.  He asked me to give him access to my computer and I said NO and hung up.  Since then there has been two more attempts to call my number.

Home from work, noticed I had a call from this number and caller id shows: "Do not pick up" To me is a long ago elementary way to get someone to do something....sorry too old to fall for that one. :) Then another on phone "unknown name unknown number. Having to constantly ensure my phone is on the do not call list, then it seems in some cases they get through anyway.

Now if only some way could be found to shut down their entire call-center.

Received call noon time - on phone display window it had   'DO NOT PICK UP'   and 1-212 698-5233 and guess what?  I didn't.

I get calls from this number periodically, 212-698-5233 .. Last time they called (call is rerouted from Mumbai India) I let him tell me my computer has a virus.. and so on and so on. When he finished I asked if he was sure I had a virus in my computer.. He said he was.. My response  " Well that's news to me since I don't own a computer" . ( I do  ..LOL

You can also tell them you own a Mac..
