This number has called 4 times today, because I get so many telemarket calls etc, I don't answer unless I know the number.  For this call today the caller ID identified the caller as "Do NOT PICK UP" several times they let it ring until the answer machine picked up then hung up.  One more number to block.

DON'T ANSWER THE CALLS!!!
They will call you again and again.....

If you need to then get free call blockers, preferably more than one.
They will try to overcome your first call blocker by rapid dialing more than once.
By the way they show a FAKE PHONE NUMBER, (caller id) but you can stop that also with a call blocker.

Called this morning around 10:30 AM 8/4/2015

My caller I.D. gave the tel. number with the message: "Do not answer this call". I wasn't home when the call came in and I have no answering machine. Thanks to this site, which I always check with "unknown" callers, I know it's a scam.

Caller ID says "do not pickup".  Went further into the menu and found the phone number.  Read these posts and blocked this number.  When I got this phone system (Panasonic" it said I could block 250 numbers...I thought this was a lot.  I have blocked about 150 numbers....I am wondering it I will fill it up soon.  sure is a lot quieter around here.

Today these guys have called a total of 17 times. NO message, harassing me to the max

The caller ID said "do not pick up" so I didn't. Looked up the number and found all these comments. When the phone rang with this number for the third time, I answered and played along. He said my computer had been hacked, etc. asked me to press the windows button. I have a mac so I told him I didn't see that button. Asked me to click the start menu, told him my computer didn't have a start menu. Told me my computer must be very unique and the ninth wonder of the world. I told him there must be some mistake and perhaps I hadn't really been hacked. Asked me if my name was ... I said no. He said "I know what your name is, it's b!t€#" haha. What a dweeb.

keep getting calls from 212-689-5233, when it goes to answering machine no message left. caller ID says "DO NOT PICK UP"  calls numerous times, getting very annoyed!

This is Saturday 8/8/2015 9:00 am. My caller ID says "DO NOT PICK UP". The phone number is 1-212-698-5233. They have never left a msg and I've never answered the calls which are sometimes just minutes apart and almost every day for the past 2 weeks. Why doesn't the "do not call list" catch this scam. I'm registered on the do not call list. According to others, it's another computer "windows" scam. I've also had them before from other phone numbers.

Got a call and saw "Do Not Pick Up" and the number on the caller ID.  So I guess the phone company is labeling them now.

Got a call from this number every 5 min.  The caller ID says, DO NOT PICK UP.  So I didn't and they didn't leave a message.  After the 7th time I blocked the number.  I find it funny that someone found a way to put that caller ID on a telemarketer.

this number actually came through on Caller ID as DO NOT PICK UP --- LOLOL  I guess Verizon figured that out  --- but I did anyway since I wanted to be put on their do not call back list --- heavy Indian accent, calling from Windows about my computer having a virus --- totally bogus --- ha ha  - told him I knew it was a scam and if he called me back I would report them

The called ID actually showed "Do Not Pick Up".  LOL  As I am a woman who's common sense far outweighs her curiosity, I didn't pick up.

Same problem. Callimg ever half hour now for two days. How do I block it?

DON'T EVER ANSWER THE CALLS!!!   now 206 (Micro Soft) area code!!! better than 212 NYC? Give me a break!!!
They will just call you again and again.....and waste your time

By the way they randomly dialed your phone number, and they show  their own FAKE PHONE NUMBERS (caller id) but you can stop that also with a call blocker.
