Get this they called and asked for my dead boss, he's been dead for 6 years, same people , I have started  to tell them he's in the can!

I just got a call from this number under  "Dealogic" caller ID!!
The woman was distracted and closed to be drunk. She asked about whether the bussiness owner has health insurance or not...I told her I have no idea call his assistnat in 15 min. she hung up!

Did the same here today

Received a call today with caller identifying himself as Al and inquiring if I had health insurance.  When I told him yes, he asked who it was with.  I told him I was not going to give him that information.  His response was "Whatever" and hung up.  Tried to call back the number. Got a message identifying company as Prospect America selling low-cost health insurance.  Said you could leave a message to have your number removed immediately from their system but of course that mailbox was full.

as a rule, we don't answr any calls from any toll free number or nyc, or weird caller id |FLO888888888?

if it's legit, they leave a msg...99.99% no one leaves crap from these #s..
however, if u happen to LIVE in NYC, i dunno what yr alternative is...good luck.

Dealogic called around lunchtime.  I was at work so i missed the call of course.  They left no message or voicemall at all.  So far, this is the first time they ever called.

Picked up a call from 212-786-6830, and heard muffled voices laughing and talking in the background. I hung up and will not answer future calls from this number.

Caller ID says Dealogic which is a legitimated firm that deals in analytical and financial software for banking and investment firms. Unfortunately, who ever is calling about health insurance is spoofing their caller ID to prevent us knowing who they are. We are on the DNC list, both federal and state. If you call the number, it answers as "Prospect America" any company who disguises their caller ID is immediately suspect in my book

May 27, 2010:  This is about the 6th time I've received a call from 212-786-6830, sometimes I answer and sometimes I don't.  I have asked them repeatedly to remove my name from their list.  They call and say hello to me like they are a long-long friend.  I acknowledge the call and the man on the other end identified himself as Archie and stated he has something special for me.  He is coughing and carrying on and there's background noise.  I'm getting annoyed with them calling and I interrupt him to ask who he is, and he becomes very angry with me and states, "I just told you who I am, didn't you hear?"  I then responded by telling him AGAIN, to please remove my number from their list.  He then became angry and stated loudly, "You bet we will."  After that he hung up the phone.  I am in the DNC list but apparently it's not working that well.

Please remove me from your call list.

calls daily

got two calls from this # today, the first one hung up after I said hello 3 times and the second caller asked for a Gertrude. I then proceeded to give the woman on the other end both barrels.(I got real nasty) It may not have been the right thing to do, but it sure felt good.

Came up COMMSCAN LLC on the caller ID. This is a business, so I just google the number while it's ringing, if it looks suspicious to me. Googling brings up these complaint threads, which are great to have access to. Having read all the ones on this thread, I just think "Con-Scam" in my mind as I look for new complaints or information.

One earlier poster is correct, that it is necessary to report them if you don't have a business relationship with them, but these people seem to be okay with closing shop and phone numbers and moving on to another name, place and number to resume the annoying telemarketing, once they get reported. My point is, you can chase them out of your yard, but they come back later.

I just ignore them; they rarely even leave a message. Ain't caller ID wonderful?

They called today asked for my boss, when I asked who was calling the guy hung up!

They call repeatedly, and their calls are ignored repeatedly. No messages are ever left. The gate remains shut.
