When I picked up the phone answered by giving my name, the caller then hung up.

I had the same issue as dave.  I picked up phone; answered with my name and caller hung up.  This happened on two separate occasions.

A gentlemen calls from 212-885-2700, does not identify himself.  I pick up for my boss when he is in a meeting, he calls many times, sometimes 2 or 3 times an hour and my boss does not know the number hence he wont pick up.  Today again, it is Wednesday December 19 9:53 Standard time and while i was trying to ask more information about the call he hung up on me... B*****.

I am trying to find out where he is calling from and will report him.

When I answered the phone the caller hung up on me - the first 2 times. I googled the number, went to an IPC website, found an e-mail address and asked them to remove our number from their call list, as it was getting to be harassment.   (They called 5 times in a couple minutes, so I just put the phone down the last three times they called.)

Someone calls and hangs up when I answer with my name.  I asked to be transfered to someone to remove my name.  I was transfered to a Carolyn.  I dont know what is going on in that company but someone needs to get it together and remove me from the list.  People keep calling me several times a day.  A colleague of mine had the same problem but someone answered and helped him immediately several months ago.  I asked for her but she is no longer there.  Carolyn if you're the boss then please anser my voicemail or I will report you.

The caller told me he was a government contractor and I was invited to a sniper siminar in arlinton, va. I thought it was a bogus call so I'm having a police dective find out about this company.

They are a very nice bunch of people there. They put together great informative conferences. If you receive a call from them and they hang, it's probably a wrong number or old number. In other words, stop wasting time reporting them on blogs and get your [***] back to work.

Mack you must work for them, the nerve of you to tell us to do that! I have been harrased byt his number. I work in a shred services department and am very busy, I get 3 calls a week from this number and they always hang up....

I called and asked for Mack, They put me through but he didn't pick up. I am goingn to wait to talk to him in person and have them remove me from the list. I advise others to do the same.

Lady at that number said she'd remove our number from their directory....let's see if that happens.

It didn't work. They called again today. Asked for a second time to removed from the list.

I looked at my phone and it said I had missed a call from this number. I am a total coward, so I am terrified to call back. I decided to check out the area code for the number and found this website. I typed in the phone number, and there are all of the things! I'm scared now! LOL!

IPQC is a legit organization. They must have bought lists from all over the place.  Probably using a bunch of untrained phone pounders to fill their seminars.  Anyway call 1-800-882-8684 and ask them to remove you from their calling list. I talked to Ashley today and said she would do it immediately.We'll see.

JUST happened to me too.  the company is iqpc...i don't get it.

Same phone number, while I was at work today ..caller hung up and didn't leave voice mail.  Very strange to say the least. But that's why they have sites like this to warn others.  Right?  I don't take these sorts of things lightly. Believe me.

I think it's a marketing site after looking into it more...basically that's all it is. I've received flyers from IDGA and IQPC before and it was most likely a salescall to see if there was interest in attending a conference.

212-885-2700 is a sales call. I saw this number on caller ID at work and I hate answering calls I don't recognize, especially when its not in either the 312 or 512 area codes where our businesses are. The guy left a long message (read off a card)...ugh
