seeing that I manage a call centre and from time to time we have campaigns to call our clients customers. as a Legit company I do take offense to what is said. we have hard working people supporting their families. We take telemarketing laws very seriously and those who don't should be reported and shut down. This way people like me don't get a bad name.

Called, No message left.

When I get this call, he says his name is Anthony Marino. I wonder if it's the same guy?

IQPC called because I downloaded the agenda for a conference and they wanted to follow-up.

Some foreigner was calling about my computer. I did not even bother to answer his questions, asked him not to call again, and hung up on him before he could say another word. I believe that it might have been an attempt to lock my laptop with malware.

the same thing happened to me when I picked up the phone the caller then hung up.

Normally, I don't answer when 212-885-2700 appears on Caller ID, since IQPC is such a pest, they refuse to follow the guidelines to become a vendor, and nobody here wants anything to do with them.  Today, they tricked me into picking up, because they spoofed a German number (493020913370) that I didn't recognize.  A woman phoned for a department head about training and wouldn't go to Purchasing.  I offered to take a message and almost fell over when she gave her company's name.  Then she changed her mind and decided to try again later.

Wow, that woman sounds like a complete idiot. She probably can't write anyway.

It was hard to tell if they were saying they were 'Chief Customer Officer Exchange' or if they wanted to speak to one. They wouldn't clarify. At any rate they wanted switchboard to confirm email address. But switchboard is not (and never been) authorized. They then said never mind they have email address. We then recommended if that were true, they may make the attempt. But to be advised if it is not expected it will be delivered into the email's spam system server and may not retrieved in time.

These people are horrible scammers - never say the word "yes". They record it, illegally sign you up for their service, bill you and use the recorded "yes" as proof that you signed up. Hang up and block

Caller asked for someone who worked here years and years ago re: logistics summit.  Caller said (former) employee had reached out to obtain information.  I pretended to take a detailed message.

I've been getting a lot of wrong number calls from this number lately.  They ask for somebody different every time.
