So I sleep in late and it is early in the morning like 6:30 so I check the phone receiver and it is that ms Telsy thing and I just didn't pick it up i kept sleeping and they didn't leave a message but I just got a app that if you press it it sends out a high pich sound that is very loud so I just use that a lot they hang up right away

They r a scam artist they don't have one

Stupidly gave them my SSN because they said they were a debt collector.  Then they said they had no record of my name.  Will now inform the Attorney Generals office.

So it is 11:11. And they called for there 5th time and I picked it up blasted the air horn and hung up!  I hope that shows them that they shouldn't do that to this house!!

This is a company with which I have never had a relationship; there could be no reason to call me other than to attempt to solicit funds or marketing. NO THANKS!!
They did not leave a message.

Received a call this morning.  Second day in a row.  Caller does not speak good English, first red flag.  Then identifies himself as working from Microsoft and our computers have sent them a message that they are infected.  First, we told them we're on do not call list.  That did not stop them.  Second call, my husband told them "if you are from Microsoft, then you know what our problems are.  FIX THEM!"  Then he hung up.

Got a call from MCI ITSS TELSYS 213-337-0014 with a new scam. Claimed they were from Microsoft & had traced a hack into my computer & that it would steal my files & probably crash the system in a couple of days. Said they could help fix it by removing the malware files but I had to do it myself with their help. Asked to open up MS file search which I did. Then said it would be necessary to connect to their (Microsoft) server to complete the process. At that point I hung up as it is a scam.

Most likely they were looking to get into the system and steal personal info.

Don't ever let anyone you don't know have external access to your computer.

Called tonight about my computer and Microsoft couldn't understand him at all blah blah blah I told him I dont have a computer he sounded shocked! Asked me my age and asked me my name so I hung up on him foreign tards!!!

That what I asked the guy when he said something about my computer and Microsoft ""what I gotta virus you wanna remove' lol yup just wanted access to our personal info

This is not a scam or someone with the government it is, MCM also known as Midland Credit Management This is a collection agency for medical bills. If you demand to know how is calling, in an ugly voice, and do not let them get a word in, until they answer your demands, they generally give in and then will state MCM. Then you have to keep demanding to know what MCM stands for. Only then will the person on the phone give you that information. I would not verify who they were talking to and just kept making demands since they were the ones calling several times an hour. The person calling wanted my husband and kept demanding that I put him on the phone, but I would not verify any names and just kept demanding to know names of their company, so I knew who I was dealing with. The person calling never got the satisfaction of ever knowing who was on the phone with the collector, which made her very angry, but OH WELL, they were the ones refusing to do business by mail as requested, and call my phone several times a hour almost daily for weeks now.

They will call several times an hour, even if  informed that they are to contact via the mail only. They do not bother sending correspondence thru the mail, and will not provide proof of bill owed when asked. I will only pay thru the company that the original charge was thru, and send money to that company only. This is what any person owing money should do, not pay various companies making claims that you owe money, and will not send proof of the bill.

By the way, they also will tell the person answering the phone, any line of bull, even claiming to be someone that they are not, just to get the person they are really calling for on the phone. I offered an air horn over the phone when the lady was so rude to me, and would not quit calling my phone making demands. Maybe when these bill collectors overstep, and will not do business by mail when told we should use a whistle or air horn. Maybe then they will get the hint several calls within one hour is harassment. Wish I had their personal number to call them several times a hour daily.

Collectors that use these tactics do not deserve for the people that they are harassing to be polite in return, it gets the person being harassed nowhere.

Another one for the blocked call list.   My list is quite extensive.

Called on 06/11/2013 @ 03:44 PM from Los Angeles, CA. No message was left, but based on the variety of claims of different posters, these people will try to scam you for any reason they can think of. Charity, Debt collector, Microsoft virus and hacking scam, etc.
Let the NSA and the IRS on this scum and leave the innocent citizens of this great country alone.

Received call from this number, they have a a new scam.  Tried to get me to go to my PC as my windows was just attacked and they had the "fix" for the problem.  Kept calling back when I would hang up asking personal questions.  

I knew this was a scam from the beginning, though if they called my 78 year old mother she would probably believe them.  BEWARE.

Just got a call from this number. The caller ID says MCI ITSS TELESY The guy said he was with "Windows" and that he'd received some kind of reports but I didn't catch everything he said because I was laughing. He asked me why I was laughing and I told him Microsoft would never call people at home.. He tried to tell me he wasn't with Microsoft but that I have a registered Windows computer. Anyway I laughed and told him he was a scam and that I wouldn't give him remote access to my computer and hung up.

DO you really think the DO NOT CALL list has ever worked? That is one of the bigger jokes. This group is claiming they are calling on behalf of obama and looking for MORE donations for the dumbocrat party. Since they are CLAIMING to be a political party the do not call list means NOTHING to them. Fact is they are just a bunch of thieves just like your president and his cabinet.

Apparently the do not call list is a joke, but my answering machine message does seem to scare away these jerks from leaving messages. anytime a number calls I either type the number in or the name listed to see if it is legit.   Or just another shady scam.
First of all I believe MCI does not exist anymore at least as a Phone Company.

File a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.  They will only act if enough people file a complaint.  Of course, the scam artists will just start using a new phone number, but at least we can slow them down a bit.

Oh yes it still exists.....just got ANOTHER call from them 5 minutes ago! Frustrating!
