Once, it starts happening again, I alert my phone company and they block the number.  See if they can't help you block the number.

They have called many times before, but we haven't answered before this. They have never left a message on the answering machine. Man(with accent) said he was from Windows and found there was some trouble with computers in our area. They needed to connect remotely to our computer to check on the problem & wanted us to download software to do so. I asked how I could know this was from Windows and he gave a number to call - 424-256-3700-02- said this is the number he was calling from, but not what the caller ID said. He then said I could check on this and asked to go on with a download. I refused to go along with what he wanted. He did not appreciate that. I just hung up.

Caller ID stated anonymous so I did not answer and no message was left.

I received a call  from that number June 27,2013 at 8:54 am saying they were working for Microsoft and needed access to my computer to fix a problem. I told them that I had no computers here. I asked for callback number to verify and he just wanted to know when he could call back.  I hung up. This morning, June 28,2013 at 10:10 am they called again. I saw number on caller id and did not answer. They left no message on answering machine.

They just keep calling, if I don't answer they don't leave a message, if I do answer, they just hang up. So aggravating, reported them to the DO NOT CALL registry, which btw you can also report #'s if it's a voice recording, regardless of whether you are registered or not apparently.

They call because they are desperate drug addicts. Most of these hopeless [***]-0hs probably also have BPD.
Best thing to do is don't pick up the phone. As people learn more about these scum, it is getting harder for them to find a "sucker".

I didn't answer but I immediately blocked it. If it were a legit non-profit calling, the phone company would not have allowed the blocking

Called asked for 15.00 for kids who have cancer to go on trips,said i helped last year.I,i just hung up. have never helped them

I received a call this morning.  I live in Baltimore, MD.  The caller was extremely rude.  I asked to be put on the "Do Not Call" list and he refused.  I asked to speak to his supervisor and was again refused.  I tried calling the above number and was told to try again later.  I'm going to complain to the FCC.

Got the call from the same number. They are now stating that they are from Microsoft and that I have a virus and people are hacking my systems. They told me to go to my computer and open these files. I just hung up. SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!!

This company has called twice saying they represent Microsoft and that our computer is downloading malicious files and they need to fix it. When asked where they are located and what computer I.D. no. that is doing this they hung up. We have more than one computer so we knew this was a scam. That had the nerve to call back today and I told them I was going to report them and hung up. They speak broken English and aren't from the United States. Beware!

got an anonymous call from this number; they hung up on my husband.

I'm not interested in your freakin' payday advance, or any other business you have to offer. Note, that any further calls to my number, will be treated as harassment, and dealt with in that manner!

They have called the last three days without leaving a message.  We call screen and don't answer.  Tired of non-legitimate entities calling.  If it were legitimate, they would leave a message.  Scum.

Got a call said they worked for Ameren Illinois..I told the idiot I wasn't changing anything and wasn't giving him any info about anything...Caller ID shown MCI ITSS TELESY  213-337-0014..He spoke with a strong accent....

I did answer the call and the woman on the phone said she was calling for my husband. I said well he's not here and she asked me to write down her number...866-703-2084. I asked her what is was regarding, she said it was a lawsuit that was pending (interesting seeing as though we've received no notice via mail). So then I asked which law firm she was representing, she hung up on me.  Then I call the 866 number, it's CCI - Check Credit Rating Incorp...yet the woman on the phone says it's CNR & Associates. I get on the line with a "supervisor" and she tells me the first call was from a process server and that they were calling to schedule a time to come out to serve him with a court summons...hmmm. Again, no notification that anyone is even taking us to court and then this phone call? Scam to me.

Said they were calling to help me prevent a problem with Microsoft Windows. Wanted me to log in to my computer and then asked for information.  When I asked for a number I could call they said they didn't have one!h

although you are registered with  DO NOT CALL, that only pertains to hidden phone numbers. I also am registered, but if they display their phone number, it's legal. funny though, sometimes when i call a number back after not answering, i get a recording that the number is disconnected. can't figure that one out!
