Started receiving calls today and the call about every 30 minutes. No one answers. I have returned the calls and twice have spoken with a lady who indicated she would have my phone number removed. Lady with a heavy accent and indicated calling about government grants that I had signed up through the internet, which I have never done. Name of company, Grand Center Office. She said she was in New York.

I get a phone call from this number several times a day and when I answer there is nothing and no message is left. very annoying!!!

I just called that number back, I said yes i have been getting calls from this number and automatically he said yes Nicole this is david you signed up for some government grants online and we were just calling you back on that.

I've been getting calls from this number too, and upon further googling I was able to find a customer service number which was 866-370-7270. I called the number and spoke to somebody who said she'd forward my information to a supervisor to make sure I didn't receive anymore phone calls. I'm not sure if it will work but I sure hope it does!

Has anyone tried this weird grant yet.

The "free money" scam has been around almost as long as the human species.

It has more variations than a bulldog has wrinkles but you can count on one thing: the government (any government) does not simply give money away to individuals.
Anyone who tells you differently has larceny in his heart. If you give him your bank account number, he will soon have your funds in his pocket.

It does no good to list all of the names used by these bunko artists because a.) they change all the time and b.) every single free-money government-grant offer is a scam. Period.

I Contacted the Federal Trade Commission and filed a complaint.  They said I was the first one to call on this number and that if it were a national problem they would be able to act on it but a single complaint is not usually looked at for immediate action.  So, I will give you all the FTC's number and if you complain (only took me 5 minutes) maybe we can stop this harrassment.  FTC # 877-382-4357

See my latest message.  The FTC can help if enough of us complain.  I did not wait on the line very long and it only took 5 minutes to file the complaint speaking to a LIVE PERSON!

You are correct and the FTC as well as the Michigan Attorney General told me the same thing.

I told the women orginally I don't know how what she was talking about; told her to lose the number and now I'm getting hangups until 11:00 p.m. from this number.  This is frustrating

I spoke to the phone agent from the number 213-430-4297 and he explained that his company buys phone numbers and emails from another party. I asked to have my number removed explaining that I feel they are harassing me and that the constant ringing of my number interrupts my infant sons sleep. However, I am still receiving their calls SEVERAL times a day. They begin around 7am EST and don't stop until as late as 10pm. I received 3 calls from this number today before 10am and finally answered so that I could blow a whistle as loud as possible into the ear of the inconsiderate jerk. Maybe that will get my message across.

I'm getting the same thing. A call from 213-430-4297. I too asked to be removed from there list, now almost every two hours I get a computor call. The call is from the Grant Center. It's I tried to find it on line but it is vauge. It seems to The alliance for nonprofit excellence. I don't know though.

I did follow up. The number 213-430-4297 traces back to Alliance for non profit excellence who sponsors The Grant Center. th web sight is npexcelence.org

multiple calls from 2134304297.  I filed a complaint with Do Not Call Registry today.  I also called this customer service # 8663707270.  Give them your phone number only and instruct them to remove your phone number. Hope this helps!

the caller keeps calling and not say anything... Is this a new job they get paid for...

FTC # 877-382-4357  This is the number to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.  they said if they received multiple complaints, they woud take action.  My complaint was the first, according to the agent I spoke with.  So give em a call.  It only took 5 minutes.

Just called and spoke with "Michelle", she said she would remove my number from the call list.  I also informed her that a formal complaint had been filed with the FTC.  She said she was sorry I had been inconvenienced.  We'll see if this ends the calls.  I'll let you all know if it does.
