I've been getting calls almost daily from Telefund for months!  I've asked at least five of their operators to take me off the list which only seems to stop them for a few weeks before they start calling again.  Today I spoke to a woman operator with a British accent and told her that I know that she has a lousy job.  She said that she loves her job and she told me that I didn't care (about progressive causes).  Is this a good way to raise money?  I finally called 213-487-9500 and dialed the extension to have them take me off the list.  Let's hope this works permanently.  I give money to about ten progressive organizations once a year and I'm not giving them anymore money no matter how many times Telefund calls me. I also left a message that said that if I learn that any of the progressive organizations that I donate to hires Telefund then I'm not giving them any more money ever again.

I called them back.  You can type in 304 to be put on their do not call list but the mailbox is full.  They call every night.  

I am on the Do Not Call Registry!!!!

I left my phone number only yesterday on their "Do Not Call" extension, as their outgoing message instructs, and they called me AGAIN today, and hung up again, without leaving me a message again.

If you choose not to rent a land line and buy number-blocking phones for your home or hovel, the best thing to do is probably to send certified letters to third-party cash-extractors like this one; or, you can contact the individual charitable or other organizations that may have given your number to these sneaky corporations, and tell them that you will not donate anymore, if aggressive for-profit telemarketers are harassing you and keeping most of the money they raise.

I keep getting calls from this number. No one speaks.

this number calls my house at least 2 times a day.  i answered once and told them to stop calling but the calls continue

Telefund is what it says on the caller ID.  They don't answer when I pick up and say hello... and they don't leave a message on answering machine. Calls daily, sometimes more than once and have been doing so for weeks

This number had called many times in the past, then stopped calling. Now they have been calling several times a day. They never leave a message, or they hang up if I pick up and say nothing. I have both the "Do not cal"l and caller ID, but it is annoying to have a phone call ringing for a long time. I now consider it "harrassment". I assume some people are calling on behalf of the Organization (Telefund Inc) and are paid for calling, not forgiving any message. In any case it is a bloody nuisance and I would like it to stop.

Calls in the early evening almost daily. There's never anyone on the line they hang up almost immediately!!!! I am tired of this annoyance!!!

Calls nonstop. I did call them back a few times and attempted to remove my phone number from the list. It allows you to put your phone number but loops the message all over again. The phone calls kept coming, at least once per day.

Finally, I answered the phone. A nice older woman was on the other line and I immediately told her that I was tired of the phone calls and that I had tried to remove my number from the list. The nice woman started to become aggressive and talking about the progressive group. I told her that I understood what she was saying and that I support the movement in my own ways - I just didn't appreciate the calls. She wouldn't listen to me and just kept talking as I pleaded to have my phone number removed. Eventually, I just had to hang up ... she wouldn't stop talking! It almost seemed as though she was reading a script.

In conclusion, they were pushy but they haven't called me back since.
