Many annoying calls from 'Telefund Inc' at (213) 487-9500. Likely, the charitable organizations - including many legitimate groups with high integrity - sell donor names and numbers. lt's a disgraceful practice! If I do answer, and I rarely do, I take out my frustrations: put the phone on speaker, raise the volume on radio or tv and they hang up. I saw a suggestion on another post: Call the number back, ext. 304 and get on 'do not call' list. Wonder if that will work? Cynicism tells me no.

Here's my suggestion. FInd out who they are calling for. Call the client and tell them you will NEVER support them again due to Telefund harrassment. Maybe this company will be put out of business.

Called at 8:25 and no answer. I was already on the internet so I looked it up.

okay yet another telefund call but from another number that's twice today; good idea to have caller id; i never answer they never leave a message what gives 'cause google has info regarding this number and they claim an address in Santa Barbara CA but 213 is a Los Angeles area code and only a very small area of downtown LA has that area code

I've only recently started getting phone calls from this number.  I've donated to the HRC  (Human Rights Campaign) and I assume that's what is causing the calls.

As all the other posters, a few calls a day (even on weekends) and no messages.

As suggested by another caller, I added the number to my contact list, and then switched the default ring for them to "do not ring".  Now I won't be disturbed any longer.

I called to leave my number, but the 304 mailbox is full! Ha-ha. Too many people have been reading this post. :)

I had no idea so many of the people we call are THIS stupid.

If you don't want to be called then ask to be taken of the list.

If your a dick about it I'll probably just put your number down as a call back so we can bother you some more for being a [***].

No message, just three calls since last night (July 6 and 7)

This number is Telefund, Inc.  They are soliciting money from various organizations, including politicians.  They call after 8 PM, which I thought was outlawed.

After almost two months of no incoming service, I just got my phone line working again today.  Then, I got this call.  After about 2-3 seconds of silence, I barely caught a voice, just as the handset hit the hook.  If it was international with several satellite hops, I could understand the delay, but this was intranational (LA, CA to Hammond, LA).  If I'm important enough for a long distance call 2 time zones away, why sit around in silence for a few seconds while I say "Hello?" 2 or 3 times?  Maybe I should just buy stock in their long distance telephone company.

I got a call and did not answer.  7:39 pm PST 8/4

I've had 2 calls from them but let them go to voicemail where they don't leave messages. I just added them to my "Do Not Answer" contact list which dumps them straight into voicemail. Whoo hoo! Smartphone!

I think they are pulling phone numbers from Face book because I am a selfish individual and do not contribute to any worthy causes. But really, I do think they are pulling information from FB because I "liked" a certain politician from my home state.

I just picked up for that number and didn't give the person a chance to say anything, I simply said "remove me from this call list" she said "ok we will" and then hung up....they must have called me at least 3-4 times a week, normally evening hours.  evil!

They've called several times in the last few days. I answer, but there's never anyone on the line. After saying "hello?" a couple of times, I hang up. I call the number back, go to ext 304, and add myself to their Do Not Call List. So I get another call from them the next day. This time I call the number back, dial ext 304, and the voice mailbox is full. Great.
