My crazy screaming on the phone seems to have ended their calls to me.

I have received 12 calls from this phone number.

I started getting phone calls from 213-533-8042 about 7 am this morning. I have received aprox. 25 calls from this number today. When i answer the phone to this number i hear someone in the background but no one speaks. When i call the number back i get a busy signal. This is irritating and getting old, how do i find out who it is and to make them stop calling my cell phone.

I have received numerous phone calls from this number and when i answer there is no response on the line and when i call back i always get a busy signal. It is very aggravating. They've called me 10 times today and it's not even 3pm yet. Something needs to be done. If anyone  finds out who this is please let me know. I would like a few words with them.

I live in Phoenix and this number calls people in AZ all the time.  Unfortunately when people see this number on their phones in AZ, they hit redial which doesn't put a "1" in front of the number before dialing and they end up calling my cell phone asking me who I am and why I called them.  I have several kids of my own who are out and about all the time and I have to answer my cell even if I don't recognize the number just in case my kids are using a friend's cell and need me for something.  I have called Verizon several times to see what the problem is and I got nowhere with them and finally asked a woman who called me today what number showed up on her phone.  She gave me 213-533-8042.  I don't want to give up my cell number, I've had it for 8 years and it would be such a pain to contact all my family and friends and doctors offices.  UGH....we need to stop these people!!!!

If anyone has any ideas on how we can do this please let us know!

I live in Colorado. I have timed these phone calls to 20-30 min apart 24 HOURS A DAY. What makes it worse is that it's waking up my three year old at night. The phone company wont just block them from calling, they want me to change MY phone number- a number that ive had for 6 years.

well lets see its 8:40 and so far in the last 40 minutes this number has called me 4 times.  who do i contact to get this to stop ... they leave no message, just keep calling back.... help me get rid of this person.....

this number has called may phone in the last 3 days at least 14 times with no one on the other end and i want this to stop it is getting out of hand if the this keeps up im going to call the police and report it for hursment there the phone no just called me again

They have called my office number for the last two weeks. I do not know why they are calling, our office number is on the National DO NOT CALL LIST. How do these companies get away with continuing to call numbers that are on the list?

If you read through the previous messages, these calls are coming from some guy in India named Shabondy or something like that...It sounds like a telemarketing scam and he needs to be shut down...I have filed a complaint with the FTC (complaint #11066615) and the FTC guy told me that if there were enough complaints filed then their attorneys get involved.  I gave him this website address and told him there were 5 pages of complaints and how many more do they need.  I'm the one with the cell phone number close to this obnoxious number and finally changed my VM greeting explaining that I am not the one making these repeated calls to people and to not bother calling me again.  I changed it a few days ago and have gotten 5 more calls from people who are getting repeated calls here in AZ.  I feel fortunate that these jokesters don't have my number too!

They have contacted me several times during the last month, each day they call at least 2x.  They are trying to give me a "free" package dealing with gov't grants, only it's not free 'cuz I would have to pay S&H.  They do not take no for an answer and will continuously call regardless if you tell them otherwise.  Good Luck!

I got 43 calls from them in the past 4 days. They never leave a message. It's getting aggravating.

I pay for minutes on our phone during certain hours. Its unappreciated when they call and I answer to silence. No matter how short the time is, the burnt up minutes add up when they call EVERY day. It started two weeks ago. What is the point?

Called me too. FCC, please stop these people. We are on the "federal do not call list". Tried to call unknown back, but the number is perpetually busy.

They called me last night at 9:05pm Pacific time, they have called several times a day in the past...if they do it agian this evening they will get an earful.

I am getting calls from the same number over and over and over.  How do I stop the caller, can you block and cell phone number from receiving calls from 213-533-8042

This number calls me daily and just hangs up when u call it back its busy... They are really driving me crazy...

Okay, so I just got another call on my cell phone from somebody who keeps getting phone calls from this 213-533-8042 number which is partly my cell number in AZ.  She actually spoke to someone who gave her another number to call and request to be removed from the list.  The number is 800-222-5529 and the guy she spoke to there called himself "Rico" and then changed it to "Richard".  He said he is with "Zip" and was very vague about what they do.  He gave their address as 16133 Ventura Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91436.  I'm hesitant to call them myself for fear they have caller ID and will actually add me to their call list.  For now I think I'm better off with people who call me thinking I called them and explaining the situation to them calmly.
