I was in my office at the company where I work, and received a call with the caller ID identifying ROYAL BUS BANK, and the number was 213-640-3052. Did not answer it, because I do not do any business with that bank. Googled the name and number and came upon the fraud alert. What is curious is that a coworker of mine received a call on the main office phone earlier today, asking for me, and when she went to transfer the call, it got 'lost'. My coworker stated that the caller had a very thick accent, and that it sounded like a 'telemarking' call. Definite scam call..

This is a total scam as per RBB do a search on the number and you will find an official notice by RBB stating this is a SCAM and the number does not belong to them. Never give out any pers info or access to your PC to someone calling you they will steal your money.

I just got a call from same number, they called several times, I never answer.

I just got a phone call from this number and they hung up. I'm assuming that it's a scam because of all the info on here that I'm reading. I never give out any personal info but it's the fact that they call and think people will actually fall for this scam.

This the second time I have received this call and the first my phone pulled up a scam and now I another app on my phone for scammer looked up this number it is listed as royal bus bank in California  I have never heard of this company or this bank.and I don't have a account with any bank  more or less in California. I have never been in California in my life.

These morons are "cold calling" every number they can, called me twice within 15 min. No one there or they didn't want to talk, just another pain in the as*

The caller had a deep voice, very clear english, and said he wanted to tell me how important it is to vote. He wanted to ask me 3 questions... I said no. I read all these other experiences people had and It doesn't make sense how this title of Royal Bus Bank and # on caller id are so many different  types of calls. Why would a political call come from a bank? He said my first name. Freaked me out. I believe it is some sort of scam.

It has recently been brought to Royal Business Bank’s attention that several individuals have received fraudulent
calls, purportedly from Royal Business Bank, requesting personal information, bank account information, and/or
access to the individual’s PC.
Royal Business Bank is sharing the details that have been reported about these fraudulent calls so that you may
be prepared in the event you receive such a call.
The Caller ID displays a telephone number of 213-640-3052 and tags the number as being that of Royal
Business Bank. The person identifies himself/herself as a representative of Royal Business Bank (RBB) and
then begins a conversation that ultimately seeks to obtain either personal or financial/bank-related
information from the individual who answers the telephone. In some instances, it was reported that the caller
tried to gain access to the individual’s PC. All reports have indicated that the person who initiates the
fraudulent call speaks in a “heavy accent,” most commonly identified as either Asian or Indian. In all reported
cases thus far, the person receiving the call was not an existing or former RBB customer and has not had any
interaction with RBB.
Please be advised that RBB is NOT associated with the 213-640-3052 telephone number that appears on the
Caller ID. Also, our employees will never initiate a telephone call seeking to obtain personal and/or financial
information, such as your social security number, PIN, bank/card account number, and/or Password, etc. And,
our employees would never seek to gain access to your PC.

They called and left no message so assumed a scam. I don't answer any number I do not know. I could block numbers all day and never get them all!

Got a call labeled Royal Bus Bank - it was a foreign call saying they were from Microsoft - I hung up.

Looked this up...It's a scam according to the official Royal Bus Bank website...don't answer call

royal bus bank called 3x angry aggressive voice,,,insinuating there is something wrong with my computer they are with windows computer co. lots of static background noise ignored first 2 calls figutrd this time I would say look this is private # ...obnoxious persistent

Got a call from this number, showing 'Royal Bus B' as caller ID.  No message left.

THIS IS A SCAM! They nearly got my mother. Had I not been home she would have fallen for their scam completely. While she was online a popup that looked like a blue screen for her computer showed up and said that she had 5minutes to call the offered number or the hard drive was going fry. My mother was unfortunately gullible enough to call the number. Had I not been home to intervene who knows what would have happened if they managed to get her to let them have access to her computer. They then proceed to call REPEATEDLY and even changed to a Private number that doesn't show up on caller ID. Please beware and warn your elderly loved ones of this.

I received a call from same number & blocked the caller. Looked up the business name & phone 213-640-3052 doesnt match any of their locations. I think its a scammer.

This number called my mobile at 2:07pm Central, according to the voicemail time stamp. My phone was off when they called. The two second message was just a noise like paper being crumpled.

Juse received call from Royal Bus,Bank saying they are from Microsoft and my server is telling them there is,something wrong with my computer..I told them hmmm I don't have a computer!..and i hing up..Damn scammers!!

Same guy harassed us numerous times last night. Caller ID showed Royal Bus Bank and the number 213-640-3013.  Several other calls routed from two different numbers came from the same individual - a scammer about computers.

Creepy foreigner with common indian name of Joe Roberts, yeah sure Joe!
