While the caller ID say Royal Bus Bank, the call was actually from First Premiere Bank looking for a payment. After making those arrangements, I asked why the caller ID said Royal Bus Bank.....the collector tried to sound surprised. I think that they were faking the caller ID to get me to answer. I explained that since I do no business with Royal, he was lucky that I answered.

Called and asked for the boss.  Said he is not here (he is).  Asked if he was the only one to make decisions on print advertising.  Caller ID said 'Royal Bus Bank' - don't know why they would be calling about advertising.

Phone rang and caller ID indicated it was from Royal Bus Bank 213-640-3052. I answered; no one responded. I said 'hello' a second time and a person with a heavy accent said "hello" asked "who am I speaking to?". I replied to the person that I work for the sheriffs department for the county I live in. I asked that they identify themselves and they hung up.

    When Will Gov Stop It?
Heavy Asian accent. Delayed response-red flag. Can hear call center noises-2nd red flag. Asked for me by name & talked about some problem (couldn't understand half) with my email provider (he knew the name). Hung up. He called back several times. Don't answer. Checked online & number is a fraud. When will the gov stop these - most been doing it for years!!

Remember, Microsoft will never proactively reach out to you to provide unsolicited PC or technical support. Any communication we have with you must be initiated by you.

Cybercriminals often use publicly available phone directories, so they might know your name and other personal information when they call you. They might even guess what operating system you're using.

Once they've gained your trust, they might ask for your user name and password or ask you to go to a legitimate website (such as www.ammyy.com) to install Remote Access software that will let them access your computer to pretend to fix it. Once you do this, your computer and your personal information are vulnerable.

Do not trust unsolicited calls. Do not provide any personal information. Do not allow them access.

Today, Dec 11, 2017, I received a call from someone saying their name was Kinsey Mitchell. Said he was calling from Aetna. Asked for me by name. When I asked how I could help him, he went silent and didn't say anything else. I held the phone for about a minute more and hung up because he was still on the line but was not saying anything.
    • Caller: Aetna (Supposedly)

Just received a call from this number.  It was from my eldest grandson, David.   He called my wife by her first name.  This is just one of a dozen or more calls from my eldest grandson.   He is not my grandson.
