As per a suggestion on this page, I called DoNotCall.gov and filed a complaint.  It takes about 3 minutes, and is pretty easy - option #2 to register a complaint.  I don't think you need to call from the phone number where the offending caller called...

Only by continuing to lodge complaints against companies like this will we be able to have enough ammo to put them out of business or at least have them investigated!

The Do-Not-Call list is a joke! It's just another government funded waste of our tax money.
I got a call from this number, and though we don't usually pick up when we see a number we don't recognize I picked up the phone and started hammering away on the # key. I remember reading somewhere that this would "confuse" the automated system that is calling you and kick your number out of queue. Don't know if it works or not, but it does kinda help you to vent.    ;)

Got a call...didn't answer. Wish this telemarketing crap would stop...it is an everyday nusiance!!! Telemarketers SUX!!!

It was a distinct pleasure hanging up the phone on these crooks. Kudos to those who posted the warnings above.

Having Ben Rippedoff by a similar company a year ago, it is nice to slap one of these b*stards in the face when you can.

They are at it again today!!! They call often, but I don't answer.

No one asking for "The Owner of the Company" ever gets through.  Silly.  Can't even ask for a person by name, how can you expect to get anywhere?  I'm glad I googled though and found out they really are just telemarketing jerks.

The phone rings and I have to run to get it and then they hang up.  Several times they have done this.

Any phone that might be attached to a business will get their calls. They are rude and insist on the owner. Ignore it, do not even pick up.

If you say um hum instead of yes, can they still start charging your phone bill? I know, I wasn't thinking :(

Looked up Ask for the I.D. of the caller and looks my answer is Apex Merchant Group. I never bother answering calls not knowing who they are,there's so many scammers out there in this electronic tekkie age. Caveat Emptor is great advice,live by it,I do!!!

They called asking if we accept Visa. When I asked who they were they hung up on me. Sigh.

i have no i dea why these people keep calling me ,they wake me up all the time i work all different shifts so my sleep is very important.. we  are not a  business.

Called work, asked for owner. I asked who was calling and he said a name with Apex Merchant Services. I asked what it was regarding and he said it was about our credit card processing. I asked if this was a solicitation call and he said yes it was. I informed him that the owner of our company does not take telephone solicitations. He said ok and that was the end of the conversation.

I have to say, I get a lot of these types of calls and this one was relatively easy to deal with. I will see if they listen to what I said about the owner not taking phone solicitations. Hopefully they will not call again.

I told him to call someone else and waste THEIR time, not mine and hung up.

I am ASTONISHED every single day by how rude these people are who call a business on the phone and expect to make money....their manners are HORRIBLE.
