Some con is using my good name and others to scam people.  I am (Ret MSgt)Douglas Gosselin and I did not post any of this stuff.  I sure would love to find out who is abusing my name though.

yeah this guy also almost got me also. It was for the H-D softtail fatboy custom (03). They damn near had me convinced. I even almost sent the first payment. It just sounded to good to be true. So I googled the email and this website came up. thanks for posting all of this. Saved me a lot of hard earned money. I also talked to ebay and they told me it was a fake and a scam. So keep an eye out!! From this site it seems like this guy has been at it a long time. They have to catch this guy!!

Ya, I've been playing with this guy for a while now. He is my new late night hobby. I just love stringing him along from different e-mail addresses to see just how many return responses I can bait him into. My current record is sixteen from two different addresses when I duped him into believing that there were two people in a bid war for his bike. He was so pissed it was hysterical. Told me "NOT TO NEVER EMAIL ME ANYMORE NEVER AGAIN". What an ass, TRANSLATION: Double negitive - keep e-mailing him. I am getting a bit bored with him so if anyone out there wants to have some fun, take a crack at this one. He is stupid enough to supply an invalid VIN for you to look up as part of his scam, so it is a bit like having a battle of wits shoot-out with an un-armed man.

I checked on this bike, and in the process I Googled you MSgt Gosselin. You looked good and congrats on placing in your contest. They gave you a good write up. I quickly realized that this was not legit. That in itself makes it pretty obvious that it is some lowlife using some one's name that has some integrity attached to it.
I played with this fool pretty hard for over a week, and in the end I let him know that HE had been played and then signed him up for all sorts of Internet offers, mailing lists, surveys, educational opportunities etc... He probably had to dump that address due to all the incredible offers I'm sure filled his inbox.

Thanks MSgt, for your service. Rest assured that I didn't believe that the actual person named was behind this scam. It never is.
By the way, is that actually your Harley? Just curious if he stole pictures of your bike along with your name. Nice ride whomever owns it.

Whatcha think???  2003 New Holland TC35D 4X4 tractor/$4900.00 by a woman whose house is going into foreclosure, tractor is sealed and ready for shipping/wants to use "safe payment method"/affiliated at eBay/don't want to waste time with "endless discussions, only buyers who are really interested" . . .  Case#, eBay Financing Center Agent and Fax# different but Invoice# is 4242327693, seems to be a reoccurring number, huh? (This one is listed as NY).

I guess I may as well use my last name since this SOB has trashed my good name anyway.  Thanks Robert for the Google remarks on the USAFE Idol.  I had an awesome time doing that before I retired.  No the Harley is not mine.  I wish it was, but I don't even ride...shameful I know.  I had a little no name band that played only one gig while I lived in England and I believe (memory not great) that the other names this guy used were also members of my band.  These were all stand up guys and I don't believe for one second it would have been one of them, but it could have been someone one of us knew.  Where's Sherlock Holmes when you need him?

With the webpage, the emails, the bank accounts to wire money to, you would think someone that got scammedout of the thousands of dollars would hire a good PI and find this guy.

Thank god I found this website. I recently inquired on a 2000 Honda Odyssey for $2300 on the Craiglist. I knew it was too good to be true, but was hoping for some fluke. This woman by the name Paula Cote replied me with an almost identical email to the ones above. I even received emails from ebay regarding payments and etc. Luckily they requested payment by Moneygram and all my previous transactions through ebay were all done by paypal,so I decided to google some of information on the email, such as this fax number they have provided. OH MY GOD!!!! I can't believe so many people have been victimized by this jerk. Can't Craig's list do something about it? Or Ebay? It is ridiculous how someone can get away with this crime again and again. Perhaps we should start a website to inform people of this scam. If I didn't google this fax number, I would have never came across this website.

This chump is still at it. I saw another post with same background story on a different vehicle two days earlier. when i inquired the fake ebay invoive showed up with this number.

Recently I was in the market for an Odyssey and this guy call SSGT james hammond showed up at Craigslist with a 2005 Odyssey EX-L with price 4850. Initially I thought it must be a mistake. The price should be 14850. A reasonable price for 3.5 years old EX-L. After I expressed my interest, here is what I got from his james.hammond.ssgt@gmail.com:

After doing some search with google, I found this site. I am so glad to find out this "too good to be true" deal is a scam for sure.

I just got assraped too! Found a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclips on Craig's list and they were selling it through eBay! Lived in Victoria but she moved to Washington DC!  it was one of those too good to be true kinda deals but when you need a good reliable vehicle you tend to do almost anything! including getting screwed!  I'm out a lot of money!  I had Toronto Police call me and they informed me what was going on and then gave me another number to a guy in the states who is also trying to help us (Canada) with these problems!  Where did you file the police report?  try calling the police in the city where you sent the payment as well as your hometown!  try contacting the company that you sent the money through (in my case moneygram) and see if they can somehow track where the payment was picked up and at what time! if and when you find that out maybe you can contact the police in that city/town as well as the agency that dealt with that order and see if they can provide anything for you!  if it wasn't too long ago maybe they can check the cameras and get a image of the person!

the latest on Craigslist,BMW 3-Series 325i for $3300 Pictures are amazing and only 94000 miles!  I contacted craigslist right away and they deleted the ad, i reply to his email since I was curious what method  of scam he would use and it's the eBay one.
His scammer name Anthony Guerrero@utah-militarybase.com, of course the IP it's non existent. Notice his bad english, definetely a Nigerian scammer..
His replies;He wants me to fax the ebay receipt to this #+1(408)350-1897  
If you are interested in buying the car you have to know that once you receive it you have 3 days to test driving and inspection and if you find that it is not like I said,you can send it back on my expense, but I'm sure it won't be the case...After starting the transaction with eBay, your money, which are deposited in their safe account will be blocked until the end of the deal, so I won't be able to withdraw it until we've finished the deal.
You make the payment to eBay.
After they check the payment they announce me to start the shipping.
After you receive the car and see that it is like I stated, you have to announce them that you have keep.
Only then,  eBay will send me the money. I will not receive any money before you receive the car.If the car isn't like I said, it's seems fair to me to receive it back on my expense.

I sent him a fake name and address and I got the eBay scam fill in Money Gram email.I just wanted to have some more fun with it,  and sent him an email  saying I usually use Pay pal on Ebay, his response:
I don't have a paypal account so I don't know the payment method at this moment. I have already forwarded your details to eBay for opening a case regarding our deal. Please email me after you receive the eBay notification and confirm if we have a deal in order for me to start the arrangements for the shipping process.

You can set up a Pay Pal account in a few minutes. I rather use that it's safer, don't trust money gram, it has no protection.
Please let me know when you have your paypal account set up,so i can send you the money. it's free and as I said it only takes a few minutes.

Hey there. I got a "Maria Kaser" who claims to be a single mom of two, won her husband's truck in the divorce and is selling it now. 2004 Toyota Tacoma 69K miles $4,300.

Total scam!

She gave me the VIN and the whole nine yards. Tons of pictures listed on photobucket.

She claims to have no phone and that the car is at a holding/shipping yard in Spring Hope NC. She sent me an email that appears to have come from ebay - but it isn't!!! They want a money order made out to the name of the agent (not made out to any kind of ebay financing center).

Wow - what a way to make a living... scam everyone that you can. Nicely done.
