Repeatedly calls wanting my business.
To sell me cc machine.

Get calls from these people daily for merchant services for my biz to take credit cards.   Finally told them that credit cards are the work of Satan and they hung up.

i get the call and who ever it is asks for my husband by name,but when tell them he's not home and if i can take a message they tell me that is confidentiality and then they hang up on me.i wanna know who is number belongs to cus they call every day now.

Guy on the other end pauses and says, "sorry wrong number". They must be phishing for people who answer and be able to call them at another time

got a call @ 3:17 asking for the owner and i said speaking the company name is apax or maybe spelled different ask if i took credit cards and i said no, then asked if i ever will and i said no. he said thank you and hung up. at 3:18 got another call on another business line i saw it on caller id same number, a snotty woman was on, i told her i was just called and she said how do you know and what is the company name i said apax and she said you are right and hung up. what can we do to stop all these calls? i must get at least 10 per day can anyone HELP??????????

They are trying to sell you Merchant Services. They have to do this in person, so set up an appointment. Just say "Yes that's interesting, send someone over".
Now the fun begins:
1) They may want to confirm the address. Give them another telling them you moved. OR
2) Confirm the address as current and when the "rep" turns up, GIVE HIM/HER HELL. OR
3) Make the rep wait for as long as you can. Waiting room, outside (you're on an important call). Then tell them that you signed up with another company an hour ago, or yesterday (didn't they get the message you left with their office ?????)

When their Reps resign (they are on commission only) they'll have no one to come and see you and will simply fold (no sales = no business).

These people are making me mad ... i've gotten at least 1 call per day for the past 60 days ... we are a business, BUT we don't process credit cards at this location.  I've asked them to stop calling, reported them to the FCC, nothing stops these [***].

They call our business three or four times a week and ask to speak to the owner.  The owner is never in, so I ask to leave a message.  Always the same reply "No thanks, I'll just call back another time."  Good luck with that the owner never takes personal calls.

This number is from some sort of credit card processing company. They are very rude and pushy. All they want is for you to switch your business credit card processing to them. They lie and say they'll give you all these great rates with low monthly fees. Again they lie. Judging by the online feedback from this company they lure you in with cheap rates, make you sign a 2 year contract, then charge you ungodly amounts for each credit card transaction made in your business and your stuck with them for 2 years. Telling them not to call your business or to remove you from their calling list does not work. They harass me daily. I'm to the point that when their number appears on the caller ID or any 214 number with Merchant SVC as the caller, I don't answer. DO NOT FALL FOR ANYTHING THESE PEOPLE TELL YOU THEY LIE AND HAVE VERY POOR BUSINESS ETHICS!

The person who called me said that someone would be HERE tomorrow at 3:00 to discuss new Mastercard and Visa rates.  What is this????

2010-03-19 9:34A CST Caller hung up on answering machine.

2010-03-19 9:35A CST I picked up phone, but said nothing.

Caller said "Hello?" and I answered, "Hello.  Who's calling, please?"  Caller identified self as Bob Jackson and asked for my spouse.  I said, "What company, please?".  He ignored my question and asked a question about 1-800-Flowers.  I interrupted him saying, "I'll be answering no questions unless you answer mine."  Caller yelled at me saying, "You know that's some way to run a business." and hung up.

They called a private, residential number which is on all do-not-call lists.

The national Do-Not-Call list?

Have you read some of the comments from others? Some who post here ARE on the national Do-Not-Call list. Apparently, being on that list does nothing to stop these types of calls. In fact, I think its just gives these scammers a list of people to call!

BLAAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA that is the funniest thing. Think I will try that.
