- TonyOmg this place is the worst! They don't get anyone jobs in the industry. Biggest scam in the entertainment industry. Just look at Aly or spend 5 minutes talking to her, do you think anyone real would associate with her??? Of course not. It's so simple to tell after talking with her for 5 minutes that she's not intelligent and an obvious liar. You can see right thru her.
- NOSCOUT replies to reneI worked there for three weeks and I found myself with no pay and expenses put into time and gas. I'm not one of those people who didn't put the effort into the position before speaking but I diligently went out each day and tried to scout five or more people. I enjoyed what the job involved and tried to keep the morale up but the company does not value its workers PERIOD. Personally, I know most "sales" positions require a quota but who works for three weeks for free and little to no chance of meeting the quota they expect. The company is disorganized like no other, and no one seems to have the same information which confused the heck out of many scouts. The people they hire have no experience in approaching people and the only reason they were hired was because they wanted to do it (like myself). Credentials do not mean a thing!
It's a number game to the company because the more scouts they put out there, the more names, numbers, and prospective clients they capitalize on. It's even more challenging because they hire scouts every other week to send out to different areas of the Tri-state region so very likely you approach someone that already was called or been approached. It was ridiculous how many people I approached that were already scouted and always mentioned to say something negative about the company. I didn't believe it until I was fed up with putting my efforts, time, money, etc. into a company who didn't even know when pay day was for scouts.
Ideal position for an individual that doesn't need a lot of income and wants to do something extra on the side for fun. - SCAMMIE replies to Carrie SandlerI have a friend who coughed up her money to attend a summit for modeling. She was supposed to meet a head model from NYC and when she went there to see this person, the person who she met had no clue what she was talking about. After the first mix up of meetings, the company asked for more money for photos (RED FLAG).
I have another friend who is a musician that was passionate about his career that was scared off because once he was interested, the manager kept insisting on payment (RED FLAG). He was not pleased....
Yes, nothing is guaranteed and Alicia's presentation skills are great but the company does not have a strong company structure to make people's dreams come true. Most of the posts from this site are former scouts or workers of the company....
The company talks a big game but in reality it's nothing compared to what they keep mentioning. - WalkerThis does not have much to do with agencies (legit or questionable) as do people who have delusions of being discovered by Hollywood. Unquestionably, because of nice tax breaks, move and TV companies have found the state of Louisiana to be a most amenable place to bring their productions. To that I say, "Bravo!"
On the other hand, there are many people who are star struck, and have found a peculiar way to make themselves known to the production companies. These people, who I will describe as exhibitionists, put on their little jogging suits and go "tripping the light fantastic" through the parks and even in the middle of city streets, hoping that some Hollywood mogul will catch sight of them, and say, "We like you. We're going to make you a star."
It is worse than it is with children running out into the street. These people will come darting out from between cars, refuse to regard intersections, and run in the middle of the street (facing oncoming traffic as they're supposed to do). They are out there before dawn, even in the deepest fog, with not even a strip of reflective tape across their jogging shorts' posteriors of their to reflect back the light from automobile headlights. They impress no one.
So, there is always more than one side to every story. My advice to these exhibitionists is this: Go back to the jungle, Tarzan.- Caller: Unknown
- Robert GalinskiCareful guys, another scam of there's is up and running this weekend. They make you think they are having a workshop with a famous actor. Well he's no one just like the last workshop I attended. Robert Galinski was an extra in two movies and now they try to pawn him off as a famous actor. Here's what will happen if you attend this workshop; a no name loser will pretend to give acting lessons. If he was really such a great actor then why does he give lessons? Wouldn't he be acting? Wouldn't he have more then 2 roles as an extra? Go ahead, look him up on imdb. FRAUD. Here's what will really happen. He will try to up-sell you on lessons at his fake crap acting school. Funny because Alycia and Michael always say to the scouts, the people who teach acting lessons are failed actors, yet then they pawn them off as real actors. I'm sure they get a cut of the profits too. So lets see, first you spend 800-1000 to sign with a fake agency, then you spend another $1,000 on [***] pictures and finally they try to milk you for another $1,000 or more for lessons from a failed actor. All for what??? Nothing because this company is not real and cannot get people real jobs. I went to a "free" workshop with Robert Russell who they try and pawn off as the ex VP of Warner Bros. again another lie. This guy was awful and could teach you nothing, then he tried to sell me acting lessons to his b.s. class in NY. He tried to tell me there is no work in L.A. and all the work comes to NY and he has all the right connections. Ohhh it was a site to see. Everyone at KMM was so unprofessional and then their goof ball friend try's to sell me acting lessons. Beware potential talent, they will promise you if you sign by this weekend that you'll get to meet a famous actor. He's not famous and they will just up sell you on more crap you don't need. Run away from this company and never look back!

- philly scoutBoth talent and new hires need to stay away from this scam. I worked here for a very short period out of the Philly office. I was excited at first but soon realized it is a scam. Worst of all I sent a neighbor and her child to their other office only to find out the man giving the open call is a known felon for credit card theft, check fraud and was the manager of a strip club! I had no idea but my neighbor told me she recognized him ( Robert Welker) because she knows one of his relatives. Looked him up and sure enough I found all his info, arrested and indicted for stealing amex credit cards and check fraud. Even more to my amazement is that I find out after I quit that he worked for them in the past before he got arrested! I found out he actually got arrested at the South Street office where I worked and taken out in cuff's in front of everyone! I understand that Alycia Kaback paid his bail! How can she have a man working there that ran a strip club and then trying to sign young girls to model??? Then to top it off they ask for your credit card info when the manager has been arrested for credit card fraud. WTF! I guess all scam artist hang out together and look out for each other. I can not begin to explain how embarrassed I was when I sent my neighbor and her daughter to their office only to find out all this. I am mortified. I quit as soon as I verified what my neighbor told me. here it is look for yourself.

- philly scoutAlycia is so disgusting, I don't understand it? She is so fake! I got ripped off for my last check, but when I am there she pretends like she is your best friend. She was telling everyone how happy she is that her parents are coming to visit for Thanksgiving. Don't her parent see all the bad things about her on-line? Wouldn't her parent's be embarrassed to have her for a daughter? I just don't get it? Alycia Kaback and her VIP Talent KMM or whatever she wants to call Kaback Model Management ???? It is such a scam!

- B.S. AylciaThe only mothers you ever turned down were ones that their credit card didn't go thru. You are a stone cold liar! You even say there is no guarantees. You never got anybody 6 jobs in there life let alone 6 in a month. You are a SCAM. It's all smoke and mirrors to rip off innocent people.
- Happy Feet| 1 replyAbove is a plant systems all wrong - this is minimum guaranteed work of 6 jobs per month for all talent in addition to the FREE weekly workshop. The above post is 100% fabricated to attack Alycia Kaback most likely by someone who's child was rejected a disgruntled employee, a random internet lunatic or a jealous competitor such as Mike Lemon who recently went out of business after 25 years in Philadelphia.

He actually ripped my friend and her two son's off, by making a deal to go to their event and then weeks before the event he told she had to pay more money! What a scam. They charged for photos and gave her a cd with someone else kids on it and told her not to talk to anyone at the event. - Not a real agency or casting| 3 repliesI worked at this place for a very short time before I figured out it is a scam, it doesn't take long. I had a customer I signed who went to the event and she told me it was a complete waste. She spoke with ton's of other talent there and they all had the same rotting feeling in their stomach, realizing they wasted that money on nothing. First they are not a real agency and no casting companies will work with them because of their bad name. I know a few people in the industry and they filled me in to the fact that real casting companies refuse to use these guy's because they know it's a scam and they have such a bad reputation. It's really sad that they can make a living this way and live with themselves. I guess if you come in not knowing anything about the industry, Ms. Kaback puts on a good show and sounds like she knows what she is talking about. But when someone who actually knows how it works hear's her blabber then it only takes a moment to see that it is fake. THIS IS NOT HOW TO GET STARTED IN THIS INDUSTRY, STAY AWAY FROM ALYCIA KABACK AND HER COMPANIES. I am not sure about all the other things I read about employee's not getting paid, I did get paid for the work I did, although it wasn't much pay. It is impossible to make a living as a scout with this company, don't plan to make more than $300 a week. More importantly you should know that the people you set appointments for will be scammed out of their hard earned money. And yes, it is true they will sign anyone who has money, regardless of how they look or their level of talent. So if you are ok, knowing that your scamming people and you are ok with $200-$300 a week, then it's an ok job. I never had a problem getting paid when promised, it is just not enough to make a living. What I did notice in my time there is that they will sign anyone and most people that sign do not pay the full amount so as a scout I have to wait for my money and most people never come back in to pay it off, becuase they realize it's a scam. Then as a scout I never get paid but Alycia still keeps that person's $200 deposit. I don't feel that's fair, as a scout I should still get $20? They make a lot of money from all the deposit's they take and then the talent never comes back again and they don't pay the scout. I think that where some people get angry with them. At the end of the day, the company is 100% a scam and they do rip off unsuspecting kids, motheres, and young adults. As far as working there goes, it is an awful company to work for, they 1099 you so you get stuck with the taxes at the end of the year. There is no insurance and no benefit's and they are just plain old uneducated rude people. Alycia tries to pretend to be intelligent but she is honestly one of the most uneducated persons I have ever met in my life. She is filled with lies and deception.
