- Jim l| 1 replySo you have read down as far as this, congrats. My wife was contacted by these leaches. Visit their website and if you read closely you will find that they will steer you to get ssi/ssdi with a catch of them getting a percentage of your back pay award. Now read closer and see what they are going to do to earn this percentage. They are going to "guide" you through the process. Understand now that guide only means they will give you the same info that you can get for free through a simple google search. There you go. These parasites have remained alive by mooching off of the poor families of america that are hardly making ends meet as it is. Again congrats on being a smart informed consumer and doing your research before signing on the dotted line with these scam artists working under the current name of "human arc."

- Nikki replies to Krystal Payne| 4 repliesDid they help you? I am sickly and have kids to provide for. I'm eligible for disability but don't know where to start other than waiting a long time for first denial letter. Although I used to get it at young age until mom got it turned off due to having to have it turned over or give me all my money when I turned 18.
- BigA replies to Nikki| 2 repliesThey will help you out of every penny you ever thought of having. How do you know you will receive a denial letter? The rest of your post makes no sense.
- Leslie replies to NikkiYou can go directly to an SSI location and get help. You could also contact a lawyer - who (probably like Human Arc) - will take 30% of your first check (and only your first check). If you don't get back benefits (like me), it won't be a lot. If you have back benefits coming, it could be a substantial amount, but if you're struggling already, it could be worth it. It was for me.
I went to a local lawyer after I got turned down the first time. Yes, the information is out there for free, but not everyone has the emotional or mental space to do the research and hunt down the records. It was worth it for me. - Leslie replies to BigA| 1 replyBigA - Clearly this person is looking for help, not to be shamed by some random internet stranger.
Facts are that the majority of people will be denied on first application for SSI/SSDI. No one knows for a "fact" they'll be denied, but unless they have something like a terminal cancer diagnosis, chances are better that they'll be denied rather than approved. - MikeHuntleton replies to Leslie
No one was shaming her, try comprehending what was said before injecting your own mis-guided reasoning of what someone said.Quote:not to be shamed by some random internet stranger.
Human arc and many disability Lawyers are in business to make money off those who, as you pointed out, need help and taking 30% is outrageous! Most people who go through that long process will wind up getting a lot in their first check. People should be encouraged to ask their Doctor to help them with forms and submitting required documents. They should be encouraged to read all they can to understand how the Benefit program works. 65% of Applicants are denied due to improper submitting by eligible people and people who are obviously not disabled.
If an organization or Lawyer can convince a Gov. Agency to approve someone, so can they by themselves and save that important, desperately needed first check. Seeking help for 30% of your bulk first check should be a last resort of dire necessity. - Michiganwoman replies to TighartedgirlThe one that called here has the lowest possible rating given by the BBB.

- hello replies to MissLisa in Oklahoma| 1 replydid you ever get any results
- BigA replies to helloI don't know why you think that a person who clearly posted here over a year ago will return to answer your question. However, anytime you hire someone to do something you could easily do for free, well they are going to charge you, and charge you a lot. If you think that results are worth the money you are going to give up and pay to them, well I would think that you would be better off trying to get some advice from a local outfit. I am sure there are plenty in your county and I bet your state has a lot on their list as well. I would also bet that it would be free.
- ChayThey kept calling me. I finally answered the call. A lady started asking personal questions. I asked her some questions & she seemed to get offended. She asked if I had medical problems and I told her no. She then said, we’ll why did you ask me all of those questions, then hung up on me.
If they are legit, they need to train their telecommunications team better. They must understand that in this day & time that people aren’t going to just give out a bunch a personal information over the phone to someone they don’t know.- Caller: Human Arc

- LL replies to MissLisa in OklahomaFYI- being a member of BBB means nothing now. Anyone can become a member by paying a fee. I worked in sales briefly for them and was very disappointed and blown away by what kind of company they are now.

- Arkady replies to MissLisa in Oklahoma| 8 repliesThey contacted me through the mail, I called them to apply but we hit a wall when I didn’t have my child Social Security number on hand. The rep absolutely stated that my son’s insurance would pay human arcs fee, unless he switched insurance at which point human arc would take 25% of whatever SSI awarded him. That is a direct quote, after which I was asked if I, “understand and agree” which sound like binding legal terms, and the call was being recorded. Anyway, we have a callback scheduled for this morning. I don’t know what to do with all the discussion on this site, creating doubts about what I should do next. I think I might postpone until I’m able to do some more research. Has anyone actually succeeded in getting SSI payments with the help of human arc?
