Reputable charities don't resort to annoying phone calls without even leaving a message. I'm not buying this act...they just earned a spot on my block list.

So how goes things in the boiler room ?

Keep getting calls from this number! All hours of the night, too. They never leave a message, either. I'm sure it's a scam of some kind. I blocked this number from being able to call me! Effing pests.

If you want to give to a legit organization that actually does help kids, give to the Starlight Foundation.  They actually do give kits to hospitals to help brighten sick kids days while they are in for treatment.  This one you mention is bogus.

Just because it is a nonprofit listed in the state of IL does not mean it is well respected.   Just means they filed the proper paperwork and paid the fee.  They spend more money on themselves than putting out for the kids.  Keep calling my number at work even though the personthey want no longer works here.

Wrong Wrong Wrong, just plain wrong is what these people are ! they take over 85% of the donation for themselves , and who knows where the rest goes, you could help children with cancer better by giving to them directly , buy their family lunch, or if you want a tax break give to ST JUDE childrens hospital, or shriners.  this place in Springfield are hosers.

no reason to be bullied into giving money to a place that gives less than 15% to children, and they buy what? toys for kids with that, why not help with their bills? because then they wouldn't be getting rich of of your donations, you can give to a legit charity that will help a child and their family, you'd be better giving to shriners or st judes hospital or walk into ST Johns in Springfield and find where you could help pay a childs bill.

This supposedly charitable organization called me and apparently knew my name, but when I said hello, they hung up on me. So what kind of game are they playing? These people are crooked and sick and should be put out of business.

Reading this they were using this number for fake charity now using it to Bully money from people.  I do not owe!! Don't take the call, I have been threatened with jail, etc. The can not provide proper documentation and will not give physical address.

This is not a reputable charity. I personally would never consider giving money to an organization that is not credible.

Consider the vast number of spammers, there's no way on earth I'd give information over the phone or internet.

Caller ID reads: Children's Cancer.....

This is the biggest scam there ever was.  How can a organization use children and cancer in the same line.  The BBB states the following:  This is the biggest scam known to man.  the Shrine's does a better job and they give all the money raised.  This company keeps 95 percent in their pockets.  I am a professional telemarketer, and these people may me sick.
I am on a federal and state do not call list and still I received these phone calls.  My phone is recorded by the FTC against callers in this nature.

These people don't give up easy. They call morning, afternoon and night several times a week. I never answer.

Call twice this evening and hung up on answering machine illinois it's a scam.

Calls started today got 2 in 5 hours now blocked.

If you want to give to a great cause, give to the Ronald McDonald House in Winfield, IL across from Central DuPage Hospital.

I work for FedEx and during the month of October, we did a "FedEx Cares" and collected bags of different items for the RMH kitchen. We went and dropped the bags off at RMH and they were so thankful for the donation. We also were given a tour of the house and it's beautiful.

I got a call from this number, did not answer, and they did not leave a message (of course). I looked up the number and found this site.

***I don't answer the phone if a number is displaying that I don't recognize...if it's that important, they will leave a message. I also get scam calls on my cell phone (which is registered on the DO NOT CALL list...that's working out real well now isn't it...)

Listed as one of the worst charities in America. Children's cancer recovery Foundation gives less than ½ of 1% in direct aid to kids.  80% goes to the fundraising firm right off the top.

don't answer these, but they still keep calling.

I also received another call from these fraudsters... about 3 calls a day.  I picked up and asked to deleted from their sucker list.  They won't do it.  Also for "tboned" the lowest amount they except is $ 15.00 and most of that goes to lining the pockets of the rich AH's to run the scam.

I thought I blocked these phonies yesterday. Well. Here they be again on 8/4/16 @ 10:59 AM. I DEFINITELY blocked them now. From what I hear, they be crook$
