Someone sounds young has been calling our phone number at work.  he calls seven to eight times a day.  he has been asked not to call back and he continually calls.  Sometimes he just hangs on and breaths into the phone line.  I answer the calls constantly and I am sick of it.  this is nothing short of harrassment. I even told him to call the person he is looking for at home.  This is a place of business and his calls do not need to be trasnferred.  She got the message!!!!!!

Yes, it's a collection company.  All you have to do is say "I don't know who that person is, but I keep getting collection calls from different places for them, and I think that (insert your phone company/ carrier) has recycled this number from them.  Please stop calling."  I've done this and it's stopped all collectors from calling again.  Because if they do, you can report it as harrassment!!

I too keep getting harassing calls from this number on my business phone. I've called them back and a very unfriendly lady was threatening me with all kind of things if I wouldn't put the person she asked me about on the phone immediately. The problem is that I have never even heard of the person she was referring to.

I talked to my attorney about this last Friday and he told me if this were to happen again he'd file a complaint for harrasment immediately. (He did some research over the weekend and HAS obtained a name and address) They just called again and I sent my attorney an email with the specific dates and times they called (the info he requested)

I'd suggest you do the same.

They continue to call at all times, will not leave a message when I call back they do not answer or I get a recording that says mail box is full   I just wish someone would do something to these idiots that have nothing better to do than to call and not give any information.

Stop callings from this number !  Have  no idea who these guys are !

It might be a legitimate collection agency but they are all bogus accounts and this is called extortion.  Which is a big NO NO.

can't be Verizon, I don't have Verizon.  This number called me and it went to voicemail.  when I listened to the voicemail the person kept saying, 'hello?' 'hello?'  and then hung up.

If they call me again, I will report them to on "DoNotCall.gov"  My number is registered and if this a true debt collector, they have a right to call, but if they refuse to provide information then it falls under harrassment and telemarketing...they will be fined $11,000.

I have gotten calls too and have no legitimate reason to be calling me.. I have even told them that I have a terminally ill person that lives here and needs their rest but that doesn't do any good either. They are really a b*s*a*d..

I have the same problem with these idiots.  They call and wont tell me who they are. I tell them they need to take me out of their computer system, then they have the nerve to ask what number I have and I tell them that you should know, you just called me.  I actually got into a screaming match with the idiot at the other end because I tried telling her that I wasnt the person she was looking for and when she tried getting personal info and I wouldnt give it to her, she started screaming at me.  
So now what I do is, whenever any scammers call me and wont acknowledge who they are well, block your ears because I have a nice loud whistle waiting for them and the next time they call, they will end up deaf. lol  
Give them a taste of their own medicine in a different style   BUY A WHISTLE!!!
Then maybe they will stop calling.    Oh and BTW, the do not call list DOESNT work.   Whistles do.

this company contacted me and i used anoher phone to call them back they said there name was RPM international but i hung up after that to look up the company and they are a the world leaders in specialty coatings and sealants but i have no idea why they are calling me!

Numerous calls.. extremely rude I asked them to take my number off their list and they informed me that the conversations were being recorded I told them what difference does it make I dont owe any money and what account were they talking about (HSBC) also bs because I monitor all my accounts online and credit reports ...they also insisted on verifying my address I told them to F off and laughed saying why should I verify any information to an unknown entity (to which he stated I already told you this is RPM I replied so what who are you ) and that all of that should be information they have if this was a legitimate inquiry .I have since received a really pathetic looking statement regarding an account that has already been closed/settled almost 14 years ago ..please let me know if I can help prevent anyone else from having to deal with these complete dreggs/wastes of life

They have many numbers they call from...  Major scam...  They pull your credit information and act like they took over your account from the previous collection agency...  Oh--  and they are outsourced so the call is coming from India or somewhere,  I had my friend who speaks Hindu to tell them to go f**k themselves.  The responce was priceless

The people from this have called 4 times yesterday and 3 times so far this morning.   They do not leave a message and when I do answer, a computer tells me to hold.   They a person comes on wanting to talk and I then hang up the phone.
